“Pat, are you okay?” Brian asked, his voice filled with concern.

“Something's wrong with my head, Brian,” Patricia replied softly, her hand instinctively going to her temple as she closed her eyes.

Just then, the door to the room opened, and Patricia's suitor, Leo Crown, the same man who recently gave her a bouquet of flowers, entered the room. His eyes narrowed slightly when he saw Brian holding Patricia’s hand.

“Patricia!” the suitor exclaimed, rushing to her side. He ignored Brian and leaned down to hug Patricia gently. “I was so worried when I heard what happened. Are you alright?”

Patricia, still holding her head, nodded weakly. “I’m fine, Leo... just a bit dizzy.”

Leo then turned his attention to Brian, an artificial smile on his face. “Thank you for looking after her, Brian. But I can take it from here.”

Brian stood up, his jaw tightening. “She needs rest,” he said firmly, looking at Patricia. “I’ll leave you two for now.”

Patricia’s eyes followed Brian as he stepped back, and she noticed the tension in his demeanor. “Brian…” she started, but before she could continue, Leo spoke up.

“She’ll be fine with me, don’t worry,” Leo said, dismissively.

Brian’s eyes darkened as he looked at the suitor, then back at Patricia. Without another word, he walked out of the room, his fists clenched in frustration. As he exited, Leo turned to Patricia with a smirk, knowing full well what he had done.

Outside the room, Brian was pacing the hallway, his emotions all over the place. He was angry, jealous, and deeply worried about Patricia. That’s when he bumped into Catherine, Trixie, and Mirajane.

“Brian! How is Patricia?” Catherine asked immediately, her eyes filled with concern.

“She’s awake,” Brian replied, trying to keep his voice steady. “But… that guy, Leo, the one who gave her flowers before, he’s in there with her now.”

Trixie rolled her eyes. “Him? Ugh, what’s he doing here?”

“I don't know, maybe his worried, I think.” Brian muttered, his frustration seeping through his words.

Mirajane placed a hand on his shoulder. “Don’t let him get to you, Brian. Patricia needs you more than ever, especially now.”

“I know… but it’s hard to just stand by and watch,” Brian admitted, his voice heavy with emotion.

As Brian finally stepped outside the hospital, he was greeted by the sight of his wife, who had been waiting anxiously for him.

“Brian, what are you doing here? What happened?” she asked, her face full of concern.

Brian sighed deeply before explaining everything, from Patricia’s collapse after the press conference to the scene in the hospital room.

As Brian tries to explain the situation to Emma, yes, her. The one that he kissed at the club, nararamdaman niya ang bigat ng tension sa pagitan nila. Kitang-kita niya ang selos sa mga mata ni Emma, at hindi ito nagtatago.

"Why did you have to go after her, Brian?" tanong ni Emma, ramdam ang emosyon sa kanyang boses. "Hindi mo naman kailangan. She’s… just someone from the past."

Brian sighed, pakiramdam niya ay parang pinapasan niya ang mundo. "Emma, it’s not that simple. Patricia… she collapsed. Hindi ko pwedeng balewalain lang ‘yun."

Emma crosses her arms, ang mga mata niya ay bahagyang sumisikip sa galit. "But why do you care so much? She’s your ex, Brian. You’re with me now. We have a family—our son."
