"Nee-San!" Giyuu screamed, watching as someone mauled Tsutako to death and take a bite of her blood. Giyuu rushed over and held her in his arms, crying and screaming at the person who did this to his sister. They lacked human emotion and looked dead physically. Their eyes were red and had long nails.

The person in question picked up Giyuu, inserting their blood into him. The demon leaves, as the sun would be rising soon. Giyuu, despite screaming in pain from the transformation, clung onto his sister, crying and begging her to not leave him.

"Giyuu" Tsutako started, causing Giyuu to stop talking so she can finish.

"Please... Do..don't worry about me.. Run.. Run far. Please.. Live.. For me.." Tsutako said. Giyuu held her close, crying.

"I love you.. brother" Tsutako said, taking her last breathe. She died in his arms as he cried.

It took him a while before standing up, stealing his sister's haori and running through the backdoor...

Giyuu abruptly awoke from his nightmare, breathing heavily and shaking. This wasn't the first time he dreamt of that night, how can he forget? He stared at the ceiling, attempting to calm down and return to his 'resting bitch face'.

Once calm, he stood up slowly, getting into the bath as he was breaking a sweat from the nightmare. He prepared his bubble bath and hopped in, getting used to the sudden heat of the water. The bath itself was calming; it reminded him of how his sister would bathe him when he was younger. He missed those days..

After his bath, he put on his Demon Slayer uniform and slid on his signature haori. He was hungry and needed food, so he started to head out to Master Ubuyashiki's mansion. He couldn't eat normal food without puking later on, despite how good it tasted. Instead, he needs to drink blood. He doesn't need much, but to retain his sanity and strength, he needed it at least once every other day.

The sun hurt his skin, a lot, despite wearing clothes to protect it. Even though he was a demon, he didn't die in the sunlight. Since it was a weaker demon who turned him into one, he was more humanlike than most, with more resistance and strengths than humans do.

Upon arriving at Ubuyashiki's mansion, he felt his stomach rumble. 'Perfect timing' he thought as he knocked on the door. Soon came Ubuyashiki himself answering it, inviting him in. They went to the kitchen and Ubuyashiki opened the fridge, revealing a packet of blood, contained just for Giyuu, and handed it over. Giyuu assumed he got this blood from fallen Slayers.

Just as he put it in his haori, there was a knock on the door. Ubuyashiki went to open it, revealing the most annoying little shit ever, in Giyuu's eyes.

The Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, sister of former Hashira Kanae Kocho. She was short and also short tempered. She liked to annoy and pick on Giyuu, trying to make him open up more. Giyuu didn't mind and enjoyed her company, perhaps had a crush on her, so he never pushed her away. Shinobu and Ubuyashiki chatted for a while about something Giyuu didn't pay mind to, until Shinobu saw Giyuu in the back.

"Moshi Moshiiii Tomioka-San!" she exclaimed, inviting herself in and poking Giyuu's side, trying to get his attention. He would purposely ignore her, just to make her mad. It amused him, seeing Shinobu mad.

After a while, Giyuu left the mansion and started to head home, until his crow, Kanzaburo, came. He usually worried about his crow, due to him being old and having memory issues. He was attached to him, like a life long friend. Turns out, he had a mission to get to, so he started going towards the town he needed to go to, with Kanzaburo *trying* to help lead him.

Just another normal day for Giyuu Tomioka. However, things don't always stay the same..
