The sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow over Aiden's room. He slowly opened his eyes and sat up in bed, feeling the comfort of the soft sheets against his skin. He looked at the clock on the nightstand; it was 7:30 a.m. It was time to get ready for another day at MIT.
Aiden got out of bed and walked to the bathroom to take a quick shower. As he stood under the warm water, he thought about the classes he had that day. He was excited to continue working on the robotics project he had been obsessing over for the past few weeks.
Suddenly, someone's banged on the bathroom door. "Hurry up, rise and shine sleepyhead!" she called out. It's Emily, Aiden little sister."You're gonna be late for class!" She said, continuing her speech.
"I'm almost done!" Aiden yelled back. He quickly finished showering and wrapped a towel around his waist. He opened the door to find Emily waiting expectantly outside.
"Took you long enough," Emily said with a smirk.
Aiden rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I'm moving as fast as I can." He walked back to his room to change, while Emily followed him.
"So, what's the plan for today?" she asked, flopping onto his bed like it was her own, just like what a normal sibling will do.
Aiden rummaged through his closet, looking for something to wear for today. "Nothing much. Just classes, and then I have lab later."
"Ugh, lab," Emily groaned. "You're such a nerd."
Aiden rolled his eyes as he put on a clean pair of jeans and a t-shirt. "And you're such a brat.". He said to Emily,
knowing full well that she doesn't care about such things"I prefer the term 'rebel'," Emily grinned, bouncing on the bed.
"At least I'm not learning about human anatomy because I'm a pervert and try to reason it by saying I am learning it to help save people in the future" Aiden shot back with a teasing smile and grin, teasing his little sister about her learning biology
Emily mock-gasped and threw a pillow at him. "Shut up! I'm serious when I said I'm gonna be a doctor someday, and then I'll be the one saving lives.
Aiden laughed, dodging the pillow. "Sure, sure. Just don't mess up anyone's brain during surgery, okay?"
Emily stuck out her tongue. "Ha ha, very funny. I'll have you know I'm at the top of my class."
"I do hope so, considering you spend all your time studying," Aiden said, buttoning up his shirt. "It will be a waste of money for mom and dad if you don't."
As he finished buttoning up his shirt,
he grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. "I'm finished here. Let's go.""Roger that~."
Both of them exit the bedroom and walk down the stairs, just to be greeted by the scene of their parents
sitting on the sofa in the living room.
Their father looked up from the newspaper that he had been reading
and smile, this man name is Ivan Mcklamore."Took you both long enough. For a genius kid, you two are irresponsible
when it comes to time management."
He said as he got up and walked to the kitchen to put the cup of his on the dishwasher.A giggle can be heard. The source of it is the lady that had been sitting beside him a few seconds ago, Aiden and Emily's mom. She has brown long hair and beautiful green eyes. Contrasting to Aiden and Emily's dad
that has curly short black hair and eyes catching sky blue eyes, this lady's name is Charlotte Mcklamore. Both Aiden and Emily's appearance shared a few similarities with their parents. For starters, Aiden has his father black hair but the colour of his eyes are the same as his mother. While Emily has her mother brown hair but shares the same blue eyes as her father.
