A little introduction of Taekook....

Taehyung and Jungkook were the epitome of a perfect couple, their love story unfolding like a beautifully penned novel. They were different in many ways-Taehyung, the artistic soul with a deep passion for the little things, and Jungkook, the energetic spark who lived in the moment. Yet, their hearts beat in harmony, connected by an invisible thread of fate that pulled them together.

They met during a chilly winter night at a friend's gathering. Jungkook had been staring out at the snow-covered cityscape when Taehyung approached him with a warm smile, offering him a cup of hot chocolate. That simple gesture sparked a conversation that would blossom into something neither of them had anticipated. As the night progressed, they found themselves drawn to each other's quirks-Jungkook's shy but genuine laughter, Taehyung's gentle and observant nature. It wasn't long before their meetings became frequent, and their bond deepened.

The summer heat lingered in the air as August slowly began to fade away. The days were long, stretching into humid nights, and while the world outside thrived in the warmth, a subtle chill had crept into the Kim-Jeon household.

Taehyung noticed it first, the quiet distance that had started to grow between him and Jungkook. It wasn't intentional, and it wasn't something either of them could easily define. Life had simply become busy-too busy. Work, commitments, and the mundane routines of everyday life had gradually created a space between them, a space that neither had wanted but both felt keenly.

It was during one of those late-night phone calls that Taehyung first realized just how much he missed Jungkook, even though they lived under the same roof. Jungkook had been spending more time at the studio, working on new music and perfecting his craft, while Taehyung had been engrossed in his art and various other projects. Their schedules didn't always align, and the time they did spend together was often brief and rushed.

One evening, Taehyung found himself sitting on the couch, staring blankly at the television. Jungkook had texted him earlier, saying he'd be late coming home. Something about a last-minute recording session. Taehyung understood, of course-Jungkook's passion for music was one of the things he loved most about him. But that didn't stop the pang of loneliness that settled in his chest as the hours ticked by.

When Jungkook finally walked through the door, well past midnight, he looked exhausted. His eyes were heavy, his movements sluggish. But even in his tired state, he managed a small smile for Taehyung.

"Hey," Jungkook greeted, dropping his bag by the door. "You're still up?"

Taehyung nodded, trying to muster a smile. "Yeah, just watching something. How was the session?"

Jungkook collapsed onto the couch beside him, letting out a weary sigh. "It was good. Productive, but tiring. I'm sorry I'm so late."

"It's okay," Taehyung replied, reaching out to brush a strand of hair away from Jungkook's face. "I know how important it is to you."

Jungkook leaned into the touch, closing his eyes for a moment. "I miss you, Tae," he whispered, his voice barely audible.

Taehyung's heart ached at the admission. "I miss you too, Kook," he said softly. "We've both been so busy lately. I hate that we haven't had much time together."

Jungkook nodded, his eyes still closed. "Yeah... me too."

They sat there in silence for a while, the only sound being the soft hum of the television in the background. Taehyung wished he could reach out and close the distance between them, but the weariness in Jungkook's eyes held him back. Instead, he simply stayed close, letting his presence be a comfort.
