Its 7pm and i've done nothing all day

i roll out of bed and turn my light on

a sleepover with millie always makes me happy

just drained

from school

cheerleading

and pretending to be a perfect girlfriend

i brush my hair back and do two loose and very messy braids

i change into some aerie shorts

a white nike crewneck

comfortable to the max

my dads at work as usual

no siblings to kiss goodbye

i walk out the door with my keys and wristlet

i pick up my phone to text millie what ice cream she wants

mint chocolate is her favorite

mine is cookie dough

it's softly drizzling

not quite fall yet

but it's coming up

and i'm so beyond excited

fall is the one time of the year that i feel so happy

i pause mine and chris' playlist and head into walgreens

simple and on the way

i walk to the back fridges

one pint of mint chocolate

and one pint of cookie dough

i walk to the register
