Shrunk (Prologue)

"Okay, here's the thing," Gempa looked around at his brothers that had gathered in confusion, "So, remember the power sphere Solar, Blaze and I had to retrieve?"

"Let me guess, Blaze and Solar got into a fight and the power sphere got stolen by Adudu." Halilintar deadpanned as he crossed his arms.

"I... wait, how did you know?" Gempa looked at him, dumbfounded.

"Because that's basically how everything always ends when those two are involved." The rest nodded in agreement.

Gempa winced, "Okay, so yeah... that's basically it. But uhm... there's something else too."

Tension rose as worry immediately painted their faces.

"Did something happen?" Taufan asked the question they were all wondering.

"The power sphere hit Solar before it got snatched by Adudu and Probe." Gempa said and before anyone could ask how he was- a howl of pain echoed from outside.

"Gempa! The brat bit me!"

Gempa sighed in frustration before gesturing at the door, "Guess you guys should just see it for yourself."

Everyone followed immediately, curiosity overriding their concern.

If Gempa didn't seem to be too worried, then it must be not that serious.

"You were asking for it! You're mean!"

A childish voice yelled back, much to the brothers' surprise and confusion.

Gempa led them to their meeting room where they could see Solar's cap running back and forth behind the table of the conference room.

Blaze made chase and managed to snag and pick up a child struggling in an oversized turtle neck gray shirt.

"PUT ME DOWN! YOU'RE A BULLY!"

"Wait... is that..." Ais narrowed his eyes.

"Solar?!" Thorn gaped.

Solar turned to the sound and looked up to see them. His grey eyes widened in disbelief.

After a moment of stunned silence, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Who are you guys?"

"Sol... Cahaya..." Gempa approached the two and took him from Blaze's hold, "It's still us, your brothers."

"You're still going on with that lie?" The child huffed, crossing his arms and puffing his cheeks cutely, "You're old! No way you're my brothers! They're the same age as me!"

"Not anymore." Taufan couldn't help but snicker.

"It's hard to uhh... explain. But you were originally our age, but you got hit by a robot called BabyBot and... you kind of... shrunk?"

"You're seriously telling the kid all that?" Halilintar approached the two while Gempa shrugged helplessly.

"Well, Cahaya's a smart kid! He only believes in logic!"

"And robots who can shrink grown teenagers is logical?" Blaze deadpanned, flicking his hand that had a bite mark.

"Of course, it is!" Solar surprisingly piped up, "If you guys are really my brothers, then I'm guessing you're Api. He's the stupid one in our family."

Everyone snorted while Taufan burst out laughing. Meanwhile, Blaze was literally steaming in anger.

"What was that, you punk?!"

"Though calling it BabyBot sounds stupid since I'm clearly not a baby." The kid huffed and crossed his arms, ignoring Blaze who was now being held back by Ice.

"Then how old are you?" Thorn approached him, trying hard not to coo at how adorable kid Solar was.

"Four and three quarters!" Cahaya held up four fingers and one bent one.

"Pfft... that is the most adorable way I've seen a kid answer about their age." Taufan couldn't help but approach Gempa, looking at their youngest septuplet in adoration.

"Do you think you can guess who's who?" Thorn asked Cahaya excitedly.

"Hmmm..." He looked up at Gempa, "You're nice and gentle. So, you're obviously Tanah."

That got him a smile from his brother.

"You're childish, like Daun." Thorn pouted but nodded his head in defeat.

"You're hyper and too cheerful, so you're obviously Angin." This made Taufan laugh once more.

"Air is always the one who deals with our stupid brother."

"Ice, I swear if you don't let me go to give that brat a piece of my mind-"

"And the pouty guy over there is obviously Petir." Halilintar's eyebrows furrowed further.

"I don't pout."

"Sure you don't." Taufan said sympathetically, earning him a glare.

"Okay, so our youngest is now literally the youngest." Ice spoke up, still holding back the fuming Blaze, "What now?"

"Well, we can't obviously turn him back without the power sphere." Gempa looked down at Solar who looked back at him with wide, curious eyes, "So, I propose we take turns looking after him while the others track Adudu down."

"We're babysitting him here in a spaceship?" Halilintar sounded unsure, "I don't think that's a good idea."

"I knew it!" Solar suddenly exclaimed excitedly, "So we are in outer space! Are there aliens here?! Do you guys have space guns?! Can I see the laboratories?!"

"My point exactly." Halilintar deadpanned at the child's enthusiasm while the others winced, already imagining how they'll end up chasing an almost five year old around, trying to keep him out of trouble.

"That's why we're heading back to earth for the meantime." Gempa couldn't help but kiss the kid on his head, finding his enthusiasm adorable. Cahaya whined indignantly, pushing his chuckling brother away.

"Ew! Cooties!"

"Awwwe! I wanna kiss him too!" Thorn reached for the struggling Cahaya and scooped him from Gempa's arms and smothered him with more kisses.

"Stop!" Their youngest tried to push Thorn away, but eventually couldn't stop giggling at the show of affection he was being showered with.

And to say their hearts didn't melt at hearing the other's peals of laughter as Blaze joined in to tickle him as revenge would be a bald-faced lie.
