"Where are the others?" Cahaya looked up at Petir who hefted the two bags he carried.
"They'll catch up."
The duo had arrived on earth the day after the whole debacle.
After realizing that Cahaya wasn't going to change back anytime soon, they decided that the rest of the brothers would stay to deal with the remaining missions while one should bring the shrunken Cahaya back to earth.
But of course, before all that, they had to confiscate Cahaya's watch when the little genius found out what it was capable of.
(Let's just say that the headquarters was filled with screaming mop aliens, trying to run away from a kid who kept shooting lasers at them- thinking it was all a game.)
They couldn't tell which was worse after the whole ordeal, their Commander's reprimand or Cahaya's tantrum.
Blaze almost lost his head trying to take the watch before Ice fortunately managed to slice through the power band's strap with one of his arrows.
(And of course he got an ear twist from Gempa who scolded him for 'shooting arrows at a four year old'!)
Cahaya was inconsolable after that.
Not because he could've gotten hit by an arrow, but because they took his powers.
No one could get him to forget about his power watch, not even Daun whom he had favored when they were younger.
Finally, Petir had had enough and had (surprisingly) been the one to handle said tantrum with a stern scolding before calmly explaining to him why they had to take away his 'super-cool powers' for now by lying that they needed to add some upgrades and will give it to him as soon as it was done.
Cahaya was doubtful at first, before eventually believing him.
And thus, it had been decided that Petir was to take the little midget back home while they sort things out back at the headquarters.
Much to Petir's chagrin.
"Oh dear, I didn't think you were serious when you said Cahaya turned into a child." The two looked up to see Tok Aba, already standing outside the Kokotiam stall. Cahaya gasped and ran for the elder, "Atok!!"
Tok Aba knelt down to catch the gleeful child and wrap him into a tight hug.
"You're so small, my grandson. I could just bite you." The elder teased, causing Cahaya to pout.
"No biting, Atok. That's mean."
"And yet, you went and bit Api." Petir shook his head in exasperation.
"Only because he was mean!" Cahaya whined, clinging on Tok Aba, "Atok, you have to punish Api! He kept tickling me when I told him to stop!"
"I'll give him a good scolding." Tok Aba said, pretending to look disappointed and Cahaya nodded his head approvingly.
Petir couldn't help but snicker.
"Do you want some snacks?" Tok Aba stood up, taking his small hand in his.
"But it's going to be dinner soon!" Cahaya exclaimed, face scrunched in thought as he unconsciously reached out for Petir as well.
Said brother tried not to smile as he took the other's outstretched hand.
