How does one heal a heart that's torn,
When is still fighting for memories worn?
When every inch of my skin thinks on you,
When resting on your scent hurts too,
When every chorus, with your name,
Brings me back all the pain.

How does one heal a wound so deep,
When I'm the cause of the pain I keep?
By you leaving, a piece in me was taken,
A heart that now must heal, forsaken.
Perhaps with time, or maybe not,
Perhaps we'll love with broken parts,
Or maybe it's just me who will bear,
This love for you, beyond despair.
