Next Day
Y/n's POV
I slowly woke up from my slumber. I looked at the time on my phone, 09:34. No new notification, as usual. I pulled an all-nighter last night to finish all my reports and assignments. I still had a couple of left, just not a lot.
I sat down on my bed, letting the warm sunlight sneak its way through my window. I tried to pull myself together, like any other person when they just woke up. It took a couple of minutes then I put on my slippers, and headed to the bathroom.
'I look like a fucking mess.' I wiped the tiredness from my eyes, turned on the tap, and washed my face. I wasn't in the mood to take a shower for that day, not sure why, I wasn't that stink anyway.
I went to the kitchen and opened the wooden cabinet, greeted with a line of mugs tidily placed there. I took one of my favorites, a beautiful red rose design. I closed the cabinet and put down the mug on the counter. As I moved places in my kitchen to make a cup of coffee, a group of plans in my head lined up on what I should do for that day. So busy to just make one cup of drink.
Buzz.
It was from my countertop, my phone. I looked at the notification bar to see it was a message from an unknown number, huh. While I waited for the water to boil, I took my phone and opened my message app,
Unknown: Good morning. Is this Y/n?
Me: Yeah, it is. May I know who this is?

They replied pretty quickly.
Unknown: It is Mr. Fischbach
'Him? How did he get my number?' I asked myself,
Unknown: I know this may seem creepy to you. So, before you ask, I got your number by reading a school file about you and your phone number was there.
Unknown: I did that because I wanted to check on you and see if you are okay or not since you've been off lately in my class which made me concerned about you.
Me: I appreciate the concern but I think I am fine.

Unknown: I see. If you need someone to talk with. Don't be afraid to reach out to me, okay?
Me: Okay. Thank you.

Unknown: Of course. Have a wonderful day.
Me: You too, sir.

'Am I supposed to feel flattered? I don't want to make myself seem like an ungrateful person.' I sat down on the chair there, getting swarmed with thoughts from the texts.
The water in my kettle had finally boiled, I didn't even notice it. I was too lost in my thoughts. I put down my phone and poured it into the mug. I went back to the dining chair and sat down. Looking at my phone, 'Should I save his number? I mean, other people wouldn't know if I do.' I took my phone again and read the chat again.
I kept throwing some questions to myself. Some negative thoughts were there too. The rumors were already there, I couldn't just make them get worse, 'Why not make it come true? No. Y/n. No. Sure, he's nice and attractive but you don't know his true intention. Stop it.'
