Chapter 3

Y/n's POV

While we were on our way to the club, Ethan asked me how the dinner went. I told him what happened and what we were talking about, "Yeah, he has the same problem as me. Surprisingly," I said to Ethan who was driving to the club after probably a few minutes of the story.

"Are you sure he's not talking about you?" Ethan asked.

"I'm not sure. It might be with another professor. Or Lucy even."

"Lucy? That one girl who is talented?"

"Yeah, Lucy is pretty flirty with him. Although, he looks uncomfortable with it."

"That means he hates her. It's obvious, then,"

"You're not wrong. I don't know, honestly. I don't." Ethan parked his car,

"Think about it later. For now, let's just have fun, okay? Let your sadness out a bit." He smiled while looking at me,

"Okay, fine. I have never drank as you know so I'm pretty nervous." Ethan and I got out of the car,

"Well, lucky you. We're gonna play truth or dare while taking a shot each round. Oh yeah, you also can meet my new friends. Isn't that a good thing?" We both showed our ID to the guards there and they let us in,

"It is but again I don't get used to social gatherings a lot." When we walked inside, the music was filling up the room. Some people were dancing on the dance floor. There were couples made out. I saw there was a group of professors on a pool table. One of them was Mr. McLoughlin. I was glad Mark wasn't there. My eyes and Mr. McLoughlin's eyes met together as I immediately looked away,

"I didn't know there were professors here," I told Ethan.

"Oh? Where are they?"

"Over there on the pool table." I pointed at the pool table. Mr McLoughlin was looking down at his phone while holding a cue, "Ah, well, I've seen a couple of professors in this club before so it's pretty common," he explained. Ethan held my hand close so I wouldn't get lost in the crowd. We both got into a VIP place. The guards in front let us in,

"Ethan! My dude!" One of the men there did a handshake together then hugged for a bit,

"Lucas! What's up? Oh yeah, I brought a friend with me if that's okay," he said to his friend. I waved my hand shyly to them. There were two other girls and another man beside his friend,

"Ey, we have another girl in the group, that's nice!" One of them said happily and hugged me. I hugged back,

"I'm Y/n. It's nice to meet you all." The girl let go. She let me sit between her and the other person,

"I'm Nora, and the person beside you is Hikari."

"Oh yeah, so the one beside me is Jacob and the other one beside him is Liam," Nora said. I waved at both of them,

"Are you guys ready to play truth or dare?" Liam took a shot already, "Not yet. Why are you taking a shot already?" Ethan hit their shoulder. I giggled,

"Sorry, man. I can't help myself." I took the glass shot, just like the others, besides Nora,

"Oh, I don't drink. I just watch you guys since I know Ethan can't drive the car if he's drunk," she explained. I nodded my head,

"Three... Two... One..." All of us took our first shot. My body felt odd, probably because it was my first time actually drinking alcohol.

"Okay, who's first?" Ethan asked, "Me! I'll go first." Hikari volunteered,
