The city was lively, people walking on the sidewalk and across the street, the stores were full and active. Daisy looked nervous, being in the city after what seemed like years was pretty stressful and scary. People had been holding some glowing rectangles, what had happened when she was locked away in the forest? She looked over to Selene, giving a nervous smile. Daisy had contacts that dulled the glow of her eyes, had her neck fur fluffed up so it was covering her sharp teeth, her hair messed up enough to hide her antenna, and her wings were tucked away so she wouldn't be found out as a moth. Moths had a really bad repetition in these realms, mostly because of her, but that's a story for another day. Her mask was clipped onto her bag along with some hidden potions that would've been used for protecting herself. She nervously held onto Selene's arm as they weaved through the bustling streets of the city. Selene had been taking her shopping for new clothing, as her current clothing was dirty and old.
Ally and the dreamer had left to go find some sweets and candy, so Daisy and Selene were left to pick out a new outfit for Daisy. "This is tight and the skirt is too long.." Daisy complained as she looked in the mirror in the dressing room. Selene had picked out a cottage-like dress, with a corset that was extra tight. The dress had been floor length and the color had been a tan and green mix with red bows and gold accents. "Well, what about this one?" Selene asked, holding up a short light pink dress with a black belt and black bows. Daisy inspected the outfit before expressing her opinion, "It looks like my old one, just a bit shorter. I also don't think it'll be practical in the forest with all of the thorns and branches." Daisy walked into the changing curtains to try it on. She came out of the changing area and did a spin. She wore some shorts under the skirt due to the shortness, "Sel, this is really short." Daisy said, fixing the straps of the dress. She was handed another outfit which had a long sleeved shirt and a skirt, the color was black, long, and it had rips all over the sleeves and top of the shirt. "Yeah.. I don't think I wanna wear this one.." Daisy said with discomfort in her voice, "Just do it. You won't know if you don't try it." Selene insisted, gently nudging her past the curtains and waiting on one of the chairs.
Daisy took a few minutes to finish, she then came out of the changing curtains and had her old clothes under the black outfit. "Sel, this isn't-isn't something I like.." Daisy said, scratching her arm. "Well, then try this-" "Sel, stop." Selene was suddenly cut off by Daisy, "Sel, listen to me. I-I don't like these outfits.. I like my old one. Instead of buying me a new outfit, can we go to a tailor instead?" Daisy tapped her foot out of nervousness. Selene's eyes widened, how had she not seen how uncomfortable her friend was? "Oh goodness, I'm so sorry! Of course, we can go to a tailor, I know a really good and fast one nearby!" Daisy smiled warmly, she was still nervous and slightly overwhelmed by everything in the city, she quietly spoke after a few minutes of silence, "Could you drop off my clothes? I really want to go to the forest and the contacts are uncomfortable to wear.." Daisy said as she pointed to the contacts in her eyes that made the white pupil more matte and solid. "Of course. Head to the train station and change so I can drop off your clothing." Selene stepped to the side to hang up all the clothes Daisy had tried on.

FantasyA book just about Daisy! I might write more about the others, but since Daisy is my character, I might write more about her than the others.
