"Hello your majesty." Handsome said and looked down at her stomach, the egg was soon to be laid everyone could tell and Glory was not a fan of not being able to keep secretes. "Morning Handsome." She said then walked on, in truth being like this wasn't the worst part of it, the idea of being a mother was worse. Though Deathbringers smitteness about it was a close second. Everyday when he gets up in the morning he pampers me, she thought.
"Your Majesty, we have a meeting to attend." Orchid said and began walking with the Queen to the secret balcony behind the royal chambers. It was ideal but not very logical because no rainwing wanted to go almost any distance if they could avoid it so most rainwing council members lived nearby the palace which had every important dragon in the rainforest in one place. But of course Deathbringer had said. 'It's hidden and very well protected by our in training assassins.' 'their not assassins' 'well they are very good at protecting and would kill anyone for you, so basically' 'ok fine but we need a new name'.
"Morning your majesty." A tall and muscular nightwing said. That was weird, she thought. But as they went on she discovered that many nightwings and rainwings were stationed around the secret balcony. The 'assassins' are legit, she thought and was slightly glad that she would have this backing her up in royal meetings. "Like it?" Deathbringer asked as he took her side. "It's fine," She looked at one of the most muscular rainwings she'd ever seen. "But how did you get them so...muscular?" She asked genuinely. "The rainwing genetics have great potential according to Masterminds research. I just needed to get them in shape plus they really wanted to do it."
They all sat down at the meeting and began discussing different issues such as the garden being built around the clipping of the icewing tree, a river to be dug for the nightwing village, a small village for seawings on the southern border, and the family trees of all the rainwings. "Your Majesty, the rainwing family tree is very large and varied. Mastermind's research on the subject has not improved anything. I'm afraid our methods are not going to improve our ideas of who is related to who." A rainwing scientist said. Mastermind's little assistant, Masterminds decided punishment was to have to coach rainwings, who were interested, the basics of science and help with any decree that involved science. In this case the genealogy of the entire rainwing forest.
"Has Mastermind thought of any other ideas on how to figure out the family tree?" Glory asked, he kept nightwings from dying when they should have for almost 50 years he should be able to figure this one. "Your majesty, he does have a theory..But it would require some tests involving blood and two people who we know are related and someone we know isn't related." The other scientist said and looked at Glory then at Jambu. "Blood!" Jambu said turning red himself. "Jumba settle down," Glory said. "I'm willing to do it and may I remind you that if any rainwing ever gets hit with venom it's going to be very sad when they die because you couldn't deal without a little blood." she finished.
Everyone went silent. "Fine,"Jumba said eventually. "Good I will go talk to Mastermind and he will begin getting ready for the tests." The rainwing got up, took a small bow and flew off. "If this works, we will need a new cataloger for all of this.I would like someone to appoint new rainwings for it." Glory said and Orchid volunteered he said he knew a few rainwings who needed something to do. "And I need his Kingliness to please appoint some of his royal protectors to guard the hatchery." Glory tried not to laugh when she said it. " Raven, Eagle, Sparrow, Peacock, and Humming, please go to the hatchery and uncloak yourselfs and stay there till I give you rotations."
He said and 5 rainwings suddenly appeared in the air, which surprised Glory because she had only spotted 3. They went off and the meeting when back to its normal pace. "He also has some working theories of how to give cloaking abilities to other tribes, but I and the others wanted to ask you before he does anything?" A rainwing said knowing what the answer would be. "Tell him to not start making any sort of prototype if it falls into the wrong hands especially during times of war for we know it will come again, it could be catastrophic, but I would like him to write down everything he has, I don't wanna lose it in case something ever needs to be done with it.
