I got down from the bus , while thinking about that girl . I found Eun waiting for me and I joined him . 'Why did she run away ?',he asked being confused.
'How would I know ? Go and ask her'
'Adi! Tell the truth'
'Huh! Seriously Bhaia , now you are doubting me ? Your own brother?'
'Yes ! I am ', I gritted my teeth at his response and started to walk away . He stopped asking questions and followed me . As we were walking all eyes were on us . I smirked looking at the effect I have on people even on my first day .
After walking a bit , I saw my group having a group hug with a short girl under a huge mango tree . The girl.......she looks familiar .
'Now you all are having a group hug without me',I said and all of them backed off from the hug . Except the girl everybody turned towards me with wide smiles etched on their faces .
'Hey bro ! Who did you come so late? Our group was incomplete without you ',Rhisaj said and then all of them came forward to hug me . We exchanged warm hugs and smiles . They are my only peace . I am not a person who loves their family , even I don't know if the people at the mansion can be called family or not but my friends are different. They taught me what is a family and how much enjoyable it is to spend time together .
Growing up , my parents never paid that much attention to me as they were either occupied by work or Eun , I was just a name sake son for them . Thus, I mostly spend my time with their families at their houses and only return home when Drishti comes from her hostel .
Amidst all these ,I saw the girl trying to escape the situation. 'Hey! You! Short hair girl', I called her and she stiffened at her place. 'Turn around',she slowly turned around but her hair was scattered all over her face .
'Gudiya ! Come here. Meet our friend . Why are you standing there', Aviraj called her and she slapped her forehead as if she got exposed or got caught something.
'Yeah shortie ! Come here!', this time Yuv called her .
'Shortie? Gudiya? Who is she ? How do you both know her?', I asked them being completely clueless and raised one brow .
'Not just they two , but all of us know her . Only you were left . We have made her a new member of our group ',Nishank said leaving me completely shocked . 'I wasn't with you all for just a few years and you all added a new member . That too a girl?',I asked as my anger was reaching its top floor now .
'Hey don't get so angry without even meeting her. We are sure she will be able to win your heart just as she won ours ', Rhisaj said .Angshu went near that girl and pulled her wrist .
After coming near us he moved to a side and as I looked at the person infront of me I was shocked and happy would be an understatement because there were fireworks of happiness going on in my heart .
'So ....... it's you'. She gave me a sheepish smile and tried to hide behind Saurangshu but now what's the gain in it. You have already messed with me babygirl .
'What is this Piyu? How do you meet all of us beforehand only? We never get a chance to introduce new people to you',Angshu said to her and she muttered something while looking down and scratching her head . Must be cursing her fate . Nevermind babygirl , I swear to you , you will feel like the luckiest person present on Earth after staying with us and that's the devil's promise .
Before she could say anything I said, 'Yeah ! I met her in the bus . Now don't ask me what I was doing in the bus . My car wasn't working and Eun dragged me inside the bus . But leave that , we met in a much interesting way . You know she stomped on my feet . She has some guts '. Just as I said the phrase "stomped on my feet " all of their heads spun towards Piyu as if she is an alien .
They were too much shocked . Or so I thought cause their next actions left me shocked
'Princess are you okay? Like he didn't kill you ?',Rhisaj asked by caressing her hair and hand .
'Hey Piyu did you get hurt?',then Yuv said and took her bag .
'Did he harass you ?',Angshu asked and I shot him an "are u serious " look but he just shrugged.
'Tell me if he insulted you ? Or did beat you somewhere? I am gonna kick his ass now!', Avi said caressing her cheeks.
'Did he bully you ? I am gonna call the cops now . Or wait just pass me my cricket bat that's enough ', Nishank said stuffing her face with a sandwich. Where did he get that right now?
'Come sit here . He must have shouted at you . I know he's lying to hide his mistake but you don't. Tell us where did you get hurt ?',again it was Avi and now he started fanning her . All of them continued their Q&A session without giving a damn that I am the one who got hurt and she was the one who beat me .
'Like what? What the heck is going on here ? ', I shouted now being irritated.
' Shut up Adi ! Can't you see she looks so pale because of you . What did you do to her ? Did you beat her ? Or did you tried to force her ? I am telling you, I am not gonna spare you if something happens to her ', Nishank warned me showing his index finger . Then one by one all of them came and started blaming me.
'You are so dead now . How dare you hurt her!'
'Yeah! What an audacity!'
'Dude I am the one who is hurt , not her ! Stop it!!', I shouted now . Unbelievable !
'Oh! Is that ? But we don't trust you . Princess is it the truth? You don't need to be scared. We are here, we will teach him a lesson if he did hurt you. ',Rhisaj asked her. Like seriously?
'No bhai! He's telling the truth',she said .
'Oh ! It's okay then . Let's go it's time for the assembly ',Yuv said shrugging his shoulders .
'You aren't gonna ask me now that if I am okay or not?'
'No ! You must have done something that's why she took that step . You did right gudiya . Let's go now', Aviraj said and everyone nodded their head .
'What the f*** ? You people are my friends ',I was at a loss of words . She surely did some black magic on my bhole bhale friends. But without giving a damn to my words all of them started to leave with her .
