~7. Chapter~

She put the tray on the table and sat down.
"What were you two just talking about? I wanna join the convo"
Liam looked at me and I started to blush, feeling my cheeks warming up.
"Uhm.. just that we really wanna eat! Can you pass me my fries please?"
She put them infront of me, gave Liam his Hot dog and placed her Pizza slice in front of her. She took a big bite making a pleasured face.
"I haven't eaten pizza in sooo long!"
She took the next bite and closed her eyes, the enjoyment all written over her face. I took a frie, dipped it into the ketchup and shoved it into my mouth. I just realized tha my stomach was really empty. I took three fries fries at once and dipped them first into mayonnaise and then into the ketchup.
"Ewwww! That's gross Alex, how can you eat that?"
Liam asked with a disgusted look on his face.
"How can you say it's gross!? This taste explosion is amazing!"
Wow, Liam really had bad taste. He just shook his head disappointed and took another bite of his hot dog, chewing and then swallowing it. We ate up and put our plates into the waste bin.
"I'm so full. If I  would ride a Rollercoaster now I'll vomit! How about were playing some lucky games?"
Liam said, pointing to a toy stall at the end of the pavement. Anna nodded in excitement and I just went with it because I already knew I wouldn't win something. We went to the toy stall and Liam bought three tickets.
"You have five rounds and you have to goal 3 times to win something"
This was a normal basketball game but the prices were really cool. There were a giant Hello Kitty plushie, a giant Kuromi plushie, some Anime plushies which didn't know since I don't watch Anime and some big Pokémon.
"Uhhh!! I wanna have the Hello kitty, it's so cute!"
Anna shouted in excitement, looking already in love with the big plushy. I didn't know what to get.
"I kinda like the Totoro, I love this movie"
He started to throw and goaled the first ball easily, clapping his hands because he managed it.
He didn't goal the second though, running his hand through his hair, taking another ball and focusing on the hoop. He threw, the ball rolled on top of the hoop and then went through the net. He cheered and made small jumps out of excitement.
"You can do it Liam! You're doing great!"
Anna cheered him up and I just clapped for him. He started his fourth try, taking the ball and placing it on his palm, spinning it a few times, searching the right grip. He nodded,positioned his body and threw. The ball touched the top of the hoop but then jumped away. He sweared and took the next and last ball.
"Come on Liam! You can do it! We believe in you"
Anna shouted and pat his shoulder. He looked back at her and smiled. He closed his eyes for a moment and then focused on the hoop, not letting it out of his sight. He spun the ball on his finger and then tightened his grip. He made a small squat and threw. The ball flew in a clean bow, it seemed as if the ball would hover exactly above the hoop. It fell and hit the net going neatly through the hoop.
"Wohoooo!! I did it!"
Liam cheered, giving us high-fives.
"Which stuffed animal would you like to have?"
The employee asked Liam. Liam turned back to him and  pointed with his index finger at a big Totoro plushie. The man took a scissor and cut the Totoro off the rope. He gave it to Liam and said
"Congratulations! Who is next?"
He looked at us. I still didn't know what I wanted to get, so I let Anna go first.
She stepped for and took her first ball. She threw but the ball didn't even touched the hoop. She laughed and took the next ball. She did the same grip tightening as Liam and looked focused at the top of the hoop. She threw and the ball ditched the top of the hoop falling into the other direction through the net.
She cheered and jumped, looking to me with a big smile as if she already won the Hello Kitty. She took a third ball and tried to find the same position as before. She changed her position three times before she focused on the hoop. She threw and the ball went through the hoop. This time she didn't cheer, she wiped her palms on her jeans and took another ball. She took the fourth ball, she searched the same position as before and just threw, this time she didn't goal.
"I just need to goal the last one and then I have the Hello Kitty!"
She said excited, sounding like a child.
"You can do it! I'll cross my fingers for you"
I said and she smiled and took her last ball. She thought for a short while about how to position, she tried to hit the same position as Liam and gave me one more nervous look. She made a squad and jumped, throwing the ball in a high bow, it hit the hoop jumped up, fell against the hoop again and then jumped away from the hoop.

The Hello kitty looking sad too.

"Nooo! Why? I made everything like Liam, what did I do wrong?"
I gave her a hug and patted her shoulder. She backed up from the hug and said
"It's okay! My parents wouldn't allow it anyway" she turned away, trying to hide the sadness in her eyes.
"I have my ticket left, I'll try to get something for me"
And that we're the third lie, because first of all, I didn't know which plushie to choose and the second reason I lied was because I wanted to see Anna happy and she would be happy if she held the Hello Kitty in her arms.
I walked to the man in the stall and he asked
"You already know how it's working?"-I nodded-" Okay then, you have five shoots, take your time"
I took a ball and tried to imitate Liam, because he was obviously the best basketball player in our group. I focused on the hoop, the net of the hoop floating through the air, a small breeze blowing it out of position. I focused on the ball and tried to imagine how Liam threw it. I made a jump and threw it when I was on the highest point of the jump. The ball missed the hoop, this was my first ball though. I took the next and made a silent promise to Anna that I would goal it. With the second try I focused more and this time I actually goaled.
"Hey Alex, I have an advice for you, lift the ball over your head and if the ball is exactly over the hoop, throw. If not then just try to correct your position"
I tried it and hoped Liams advice would help. I tried to get the right position and then I threw. The ball bounced off the hoop and it looked like the ball would miss but then the ball touched the hoop again and fell through the net. I only needed one more goal and then I could take the price. Make Anna happy. I took another ball.

I tried to focus when I suddenly heard someone yelling.
"Awww, small Liam still needs a stuffed animal!! How cute, isn't he?"
The group of the boys were coming over to us.
"I bet he pretends that this is his imaginary girlfriend because he'll never have one!"
They all laughed so hard that it looked like this was the funniest joke they ever heard. I've already wondered why we haven't met someone from the summercamp, well now we had. Liam rolled his eyes and said to me
"Continue, just ignore them! They're like this all the time"
I nodded and tried to focus again. I threw but in that exactly moment someone pushed me and the ball flew away.
"Ohh sorry, the floor is very slippery! Are you hurt? Are you okay? Should I kiss your feet? Anna! You know what to do best"
James said, faking a worried voice.
They continued imitating Anna and trying to hold their laugh. I turned back to face James, standing straight up.
"Shut up Bastard! Leave us alone! Now that Anna rejected you, you hate her or what? Leave us alone!"
He looked at me furious and walked away. Some of his friends already gossiping about what just happened.

James walked past Liam and stopped for a moment.
"You're such a pussy! Hanging out with girls"

He made a disgusted face and spat infront of Liam. With that he left with his friends.
I heard a giggle coming from Liam. He started to laugh.
"What's so funny about? James is such an asshole"
Anna said, looking confused. She exchanged a glance with me. Liam now held his tummy, he couldn't stop laughing.
