Seven. Lucky number seven. Seven seconds of heaven. Seven continents. Seven days a week. And seven boys. Success was written in their stars.

And thus, emerged Seven CO.'s first boy group, Pheonix. After 2 highly successful girl groups, entering the showbiz with a boy band was going to be scary, but they were ready. Sure, girl groups were the hype now-a-days, but pretty sells.

Namjoon was very interested in music. Hustling came naturally to him and his 2 other friends. From the underground rap battles to the little music they could make in their dingy studio apartment. It was all so familiar to them, and in a sense, comforting. Warm. It was their home. Their jam.

But all of a sudden it wasn't. It had been their usual day, busking and street performing when a big shiny car pulled up and ushered them inside rather politely. All of a sudden what stood before their eyes wasn't their dingy apartment but a huge glass structure. All of a sudden their old and almost obsolete music recorder became huge and matt and new. It looked surreal.

"Like it?", said the recruiting agent with an almost haughty air about him.

"This is fuckin awesome!"

"Language Yoongi hyung." Hoseok was a bit intimidated by this ordeal. All this was so new and so big. He felt small and insignificant among such grandeur.

"Seok we can make good...good music now." There was a particular shine in Yoongi's eyes. They could see his attachment for the instruments. They knew they had their answer.

"I think you all definitely can...", the recruiter laughed as he walked towards them, "so... want to sign with us?"

They knew that the question was coming. The answer was at the tip of their tongue. Something felt wrong but this was it. Their dream. Their lucky seven they could call it.

"Sure", Namjoon muttered as he glanced at his two friends for confirmation. Their nods gave him confidence. Even Hoseok was starting to feel less overwhelmed by the second and more entranced by the studio.

This was it. They would sign the contracts today. Their lives will change for the better from today.

Jin wasn't much of a chatter box but when it came to his friends he was the God of yapping. Their group was pretty big. A whole seven people, which was further divided into 2 groups of tightly knit friends.

One group consisted of Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok- the rappers, hustlers, music makers. The next was him, Taehyung, Jimin and occasionally Jungkook- the singers, the yappers, the foodies and vibe makers.

He cannot put in words the excitement he felt when the rapper trio told him about the talent agency they signed, when they told him that they had recommended the names of the 4 of them as well.

He was more than ready to embark on that journey with his friends and so he got up and dragged the other three with him for auditions or whatever they wanted.

"Hyung do I really have to go?" Jungkook was extremely reserved and even though he loved music, it wasn't much of his passion. He was a very spontaneous kid and his interests jumped from one field to another, much like a brick breaker game.

"You'll love it. Moreover it will set a foundation to a successful future!" Jin would do anything to convince Jungkook at this very moment.

"Yeah you dont exactly have parents to do that for you, do you?", Jimin snorted which made Jungkook roll his eyes at him. They were close enough to joke about the lack of parental figures in his life.
