"i'm so nervous, i haven't been out in agesss" nova said to her two best friends as they were getting ready for their first night out in for what feels like forever
"you'll be okay nov just don't think about levi and you'll have a good night" blake replied, knowing nova was worried about levi showing up and ruining their night, despite them being broken up he was very unpredictable
"do you know where i put my lipstick? i keep fucking losing it" carley said, trying to change the subject from novas toxic ex, hoping to boost the mood a bit
"errrr not sure think it's in the toilet carls if u wanna go check, oh and can you bring my phone in pleaseeee" nova replied, remembering they had just finished doing their makeup in there and realised she had also left her phone in there, wanting to catch up on her socials she asked carley to get it for her
carley nodded and made her way to the toilet, which was across the hall from novas bedroom. "found it!!!" she shouted to the girls in the other room, but before she left the toilet she had a look at novas phone to see an instagram message from her new found stalker, cole palmer.
"here" carley said, handing nova her phone back. "you've got a message from your boyfriend" she said with a smirk on her face, watching novas face go a light shade of pink despite the amount of blush she was wearing it was visible that this one was natural
"he's not my boyfriend, i wanna stay single for a bit im kinda traumatised from the last one" nova replied, raising her eyebrows as she opened the instagram app to read his message, her two best friends hovering over her shoulder
