General POV:
So it was official. They truly were in love. Nothing could break them apart - absolutely nothing. They were almost inseparable as they lay down together on the sofa. After such a tiring day or rather week, they had had enough and needed some good quality time together of just doing nothing but sitting next to each other. That was all they really needed to be completely honest. Being in each other's presence was enough, for them it was enough.
Bridget lay on Hook's chest as they both sat slumped on the sofa. Hook was going through the tv lineup but nothing was showing up as appealing to him. He lightly stroked her head, running his hook through her pink curly locks with his golden hook and with his other hand, he pressed some random buttons on the remote, hoping something would eventually pop up.
"Hook?" Bridget finally said, after clearing her throat and ruining their streak of having a 5 minute silence moment.
"Yes, princess? What's up? What's the matter?" He said, shuffling in his seat as she lifted her head up from his chest. "C'mon. Talk to me, love."
"D-did you just call me 'love'?" She said, shocked to hear that very word come out of his mouth. So basically, he was proving to her that he was in love with her.
"Yes, and what, princess? Do you prefer darling or princess better than love?" Hook said, pinching her cheeks playfully, treating her like a baby. She was a baby in his eyes, she was his baby.
"No, all three are fine! You can call me by the name you gave me." She covered her mouth as she stifled a giggle.
"Alright, love. So, what's on your mind? You know, you can tell me anything." Hook said, lightly stroking her cold, rosy-red cheeks. His thumb moved in circular motions around her cheeks as he tried to comfort her, or atleast in a way trying to tell her that it was okay without speaking. It was crazy because he could feel her understanding him as she grabbed hold of his hand.
"Oh, you know, just everything. Like a lot of things. Like, you and me, our relationship, Morgie-"
"Morgie?" He cut her off, abruptly. "Ahem, why are you thinking about him?"
He coughed to cover up him choking on his own spit. It wasn't his fault, though. Hearing Morgie's name coming out of Bridget's mouth was unexpected. It provoked him and caused him to remember the moments from earlier on today. It made him have trauma. More specifically, it made him pissed because it made him think of Morgie and how his hands were all over Bridget's body. He shook his head and looked at Bridget, who was furrowing her brows in confusion and staring at him.
"Yeah... Hook. You know I'm like over it, right? It's alright, he didn't mean it. He was just upset and unfortunately, I was the first person he saw to take his anger out. I forgive him."
"What?" Hook stood up from the sofa immediately, standing up straight. "Are you fucking kidding me?"
"What? What do you mean, Hook? Just sit down, please-" Bridget said, trying to calm him down as the situation was escalating in a way that would be harder to bring down
"No, I don't want to sit!" He let out, a little angrier than he was meant to speak. "Sorry, I didn't-"
"No, no. It's fine, Hook." She said, sadly smiling at him. Even when people were horrible to her, she'd still try and smile her way through it, ignoring all the shit that they'd put her through.
