General POV:

Bridget and Hook both got ready for the date that they were about to have. Bridget could not wait any longer - the clock couldn't tick any slower.

"Alright, princess. I'm heading out now, see ya in a bit, 'kay?" Hook said, stroking her back with his hand before he went to head towards the door.

"Okay, bye my darling, stay safe okay? And remember to pick me up!" She giggled, pouting before she planted a gentle kiss on his cheek. He just smiled before exiting the room and shutting the door behind him.

She got into the bathroom of their dorm after kissing Hook a goodbye whilst he went out to set up their date. I mean, how cute is that? She started to do her makeup in a pretty way to accentuate her natural beauty. Her most prominent features were the thing that she was working with. She did her signature black eye liner with pink eye shadow and some mascara, followed by some blush on the apples of her cheeks and some light pink lipstick. Everything had come together so nicely. She then exited the bathroom and went over to her closet, where she had a whole array of nice, pretty pink clothes to wear. There was so much to choose from but she chose to wear this pretty floral dress, paired with a silver necklace and a pink handbag. It hugged her tight frame perfectly and flexed her tiny physique well.

BRIDGET'S OUTFIT FOR THE DATE:

A few minutes had passed and she was just sat on the bed, texting Ella when all of a sudden, an unknown number had texted her. The messages read:

"Hey, it's Blake. Just realised we never got each other's numbers. Ella gave me your number so yeah. Alright, just letting you know before you freak out about an unknown number, haha!"

"Oh!" was all Bridget could say. She didn't know what to say at this point. All she could do right now was feel guilty as fuck because she was being hypocritical by texting Blake behind Hook's back. But surely it's not as bad because she hadn't texted him back and it wasn't flirty and they had no history so there no chance of Blake ever doing something to Bridget that would provoke Hook. Clearly, no way. Just then, she heard knock on the door.

"Princess? It's me, open the door. I'm here for our date." Hook said, his voice muffled as he was speaking through the door.

"Oh- uhm, coming! I'm coming!" Bridget said, practically jumping off of the bed to go and answer the door.

The door swung open and Hook's eyes fell onto Bridget's appearance, causing his mouth to be left agape. "Holy shit, princess. You look- you look beautiful."

"Aw, thank you!" She said, holding onto the bottoms of her dress as she did a slight twirl around, showing off the pretty colour. "Now, let's go on that date! Woohoo!"

Hook took her hand, his eyes still glued onto Bridget, never letting go off the sight of her. She was stunning in that dress, the way her makeup looked and the beautiful framing of her body made Hook want her more than ever. This date was going to be perfect. They walked upto Hook's car and got in to drive off to seemingly nowhere as Bridget had no clue where they were going.

Bridget fidgeted with her necklace, her eyes darting to Hook as he drove. They'd been winding down a quiet, tree-lined road for what felt like miles, the late evening sun casting a golden glow over his face. He was focused, intent, the way he got when he was keeping something secret. And Hook with a secret was as impossible as it was exciting.

"Are you going to tell me where we're going yet?" She asked, unable to hide the smile creeping onto her face.

Hook's eyes gleamed as he shot her a sidelong look, mischief flickering there. "You'll see soon enough. Just a little longer."

They eventually pulled up to a secluded clearing by the lake. Bridget felt her heart flutter as she took in the sight before her. A small table, covered in a white linen cloth, was set up right at the edge of the water, flickering candles placed in a circle around it. Soft music drifted through the air, somehow adding to the quiet beauty of the scene.

"Hook... did you do all this for me?" Bridget asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

He smiled, his expression softer now. "I figured you deserved something a little more special 'cause of how much I love you."

He took her hand, helping her out of the car and leading her to the table. As they sat, Hook poured a glass of sparkling cider for each of them, and Bridget found herself warming under his gaze, feeling seen in a way that made her chest ache.

They talked, laughed, and teased each other about silly things. Bridget's suspicions faded further with each laugh, the insecurity that had nagged her recently feeling absurd in the face of his obvious affection. Every time she'd catch him looking at her, he was smiling with that slightly crooked grin she loved.

"You know," Hook said after a quiet moment, his fingers tracing small circles over her hand, "I don't think I tell you enough how much you mean to me and it's stupid of me to say this but I think it's why we keep fighting."

Bridget's heart skipped a beat, and she found herself leaning closer, their faces just inches apart.

"Then show me how much I mean to you." She whispered, her breath mingling with his. She couldn't believe that those very words came out of her mouth but she needed to kiss him. This time without fighting him immediately after it.

He didn't need another invitation. Hook closed the distance, brushing his lips against hers in a kiss that was both gentle and electric. Bridget felt the world fall away, leaving just the warmth of his hands on hers, the feel of his mouth against hers, and the sound of the lake lapping at the shore.

When they finally parted, Hook rested his forehead against hers, his voice soft. "I hope this makes up for all those times we fought. Oh my love, I don't know why we have to fight, it's stupid of us to do that because I know we love each other."

Bridget laughed, her heart feeling content and full. "Oh, this is... more than enough. And yeah, I agree. Maybe more of this is what we need."

And as the last light faded, they sat there, lost in each other and the quiet, magical world Hook had created just for them.
