I've always been close with Cedric, even after we broke up we stayed close. It was a mutual thing, kind of.. funny actually, we argued, found out we both liked other people and parted ways. Neither of us cried, we laughed.. we laughed our asses off about it.
I'm so proud of him for being given the chance to participate in the tri-wizard tournament, I haven't let him forget it either. Every morning he wakes up to peeves looming over him with a quick reminder from his favourite ex (me) that I'm proud and always will be.

"Y/N get up, breakfast is being served. You can't hide in here forever." Pansy quietly shouts, banging on the bathroom door.
It's been five days since the lake challenge, Zach left for home yesterday and since then I decided to treat myself to a haircut. Done by yours truly. Nothing drastic just.. bangs.. oh I hate them. They were lopsided and too long. Of course Astoria helped fix them and they look better now, much better, like they were done by a professional but I still dislike them. I styled them this morning, they aren't half bad when styled but still. The boys haven't seen them and I'm shitting bricks for their reaction.

We make our way to the great hall, the boys are already seated, I have my hood up.. avoiding them seeing my hair. Pansy thinks it looks amazing but I still hate them, as I keep reminding you.
Just one last time though . I, hate, them. I sit down beside Mattheo.
"What's with the hood Y/N?" Theo asks, curiously.
"she wanted a change." Astoria answers for me.
"A change?" Tom questions.
I hesitantly pull my hood down, looking up to the boys faces. Evan looks at me with a piece of bacon hanging out of his mouth, in shock. I sigh. They all look amused, whether that's good or bad amusement I don't know.
"Y/N.. they look.." Draco starts.
"Shit, I know. They look shit." I finish. Mattheo grabs my arm.
"They look amazing, You look amazing." He corrects me. All the boys nod. This builds my confidence, if they genuinely hated them, they would be brutally honest. Peeves pops out of the loaf of bread and looks at me, his head tilted.
"Nice look." He states before floating off. I smile.

Everyone loads their plates up with food. Theo, as per usual, has a mountain of food he definitely won't finish. I grab an apple and bite into it, chewing slowly.
"That all your having Y/N?" Barty asks.
"Not hungry." I answer quickly.
The boys share a look.
"You haven't been hungry for the past 4 weeks. Are you feeling okay?" Reg asks. I nod with a smile. They all shrug it off, all but Mattheo, he grabs a plate and puts a piece of toast and a sausage on it. He pushes it to my place.
"Eat." He says, firmly.
I shake my head and push the plate away, taking another bite of my apple. He pushes the plate back to me.
"Eat." He repeats. I look down at the plate, then to my stomach. 'A piece of toast won't hurt' I think to myself, I place the sausage onto his plate and take a bite of the toast.
"Compromise?" I say, flaunting the triangle of crispy bread. He sighs and nods, watching me eat it.

Once everyone has finished their food we head down to the library once again. We talk and read for hours, skipping lunch and barely making it to dinner.

It's almost nightfall and the third challenge commences. We sit and wait for it to properly begin. I run over to Cedric and wrap my arms around him.
"Please be careful." I plead. I have a really bad feeling. He returns the hug.
"I'm always careful." He replies, gently kissing my forehead, I smile into his chest and walk over to Harry.
"Is this the part where you give me some kind of eerie warning?" Harry questions with a smile.
"Yes and no. First, there are a lot of traps, watch out. Second, please be careful." I smile. He looks worried and nods.
"Don't be scared, your the boy who lived. You survived a killing curse, you'll make it through a maze with no problems." I reassure him and walk back to my seat.
