We all headed to his office when deuce knocked on the door. "Headmage, may we come in?" He asked. We all entered his office. "How it's going, sir?" Ace asked. Crowley looked up and saw us.

"Ah. Thank you all for coming. I'll get right to the point. Now that the heartslabyul incident is behind us.....I wanted to give you a proper debriefing on the matter. If you're to become mages, you need to fully understand the malady that befell Mr. Rosehearts." He told us. We all knew what he was saying.

"You called it "overbot," correct?" Deuce asked. Crowley nods his head. "Yes, that is correct." He said. Ace scratched his head a bit. "My brother told me a little about that. He said that could happen to anyone who builds up too much blot. Sounds like Cater was pretty much on the nose with "berserker mode."" He told us.

Grim jump in. "Yeah, but what is "bolt," anyway?" He asked him with a confused face as we looked at Crowley with thr same expression as grim when he stares at us as well opening his mouth to answer the question.

"Ah, indeed. For your sake and Aoi's, it would behooveus to start with the basics. I shall teach you all you need to know.
Charity, thy name is Crowley! Now, "blot" is a form of waste that is created as a byproduct of using magic. Just as cars run on gasoline, and in the process, expel dangerous gases as exhaust.....Casting spells consumes magical energy, and in the process, expels blot." He explains to us.

Abby looks at him. "Who knew magic had a carbon footprint?" She said as he nods her head agreeing her question. "Quite. Research into the nature of blot has been conducted since time immemorial. And yet, we still understand little about it. All we know for sure is that it is terrifically toxic, and excessive amounts can wreak havoc on a mage's mind and body." He explains more to us.

Ace understand fully on what he meant. "I guess that's why Grandma was always naggin' me to not overdo it with the magic, huh? Here I thought she just didn't want me to break stuff." Ace said as Crowley mentioned more.

"Power and peril are two sides of the same coin.
Even the greatest of mages cannot cast spell after spell without consequence." He said. Grim have a scary and shocking face. Crowley shakes his head no. "Not necessary." He told us.

Crowley had a look. "Hm. Perhaps a demonstration would prove more efficient than a mere explanation." He mumbled as he called out. "Ghosts, assemble! I have a job for you!" He called out. A ghost floating next to ace. "Huzzah! You summoned us, headmage?" Ghost A asked.

Ace eyes widened as he remembered them. "Not these guys again?!" We all remember them as well when jolted and watch them as Crowley crossed his arms on his chest. "Would you be so kind as to help me put these young students through their paces?

We all jump on what he said. "T-this seems like a bad idea." Deuce said. As we agreed as well. "Yeah, okay. We'll go a round or two with 'em." Ghost B said. Crowley cleared his throat. "Now, students, ready your magical pens. Prepare to receive a special lesson from your headmage!" He said happily to us. We all sigh since we all looked up at him..
