"Freen? Oh, don't worry about her; she's fine," Becky said casually, taking another bite of her cake at the new bakery near the Malisorn Bar. Yoko, sitting across from her, couldn’t shake the gnawing unease that had settled in her chest since the morning that something is gonna happen and it's only been 2 weeks since she returned to work. she is doing quite good but somewhere tensed about Faye coz she didn't return home since that that day Faye didn't come to bar also. She don't know where Faye is tho yoko is quite relieved that she is alone at home but it is also the reason she is worried because she is feeling alone somewhere. She misses those playful flirts she misses Faye's presence.

Earlier That Morning

“Yoko, why are you looking like a zombie?” Becky’s voice cut through the haze of Yoko’s thoughts, pulling her back to the present. She had been standing at the entrance of the bar, staring off into space, her mind replaying the events of the last few days on a loop.

Yoko forced a smile, but it barely reached her eyes. She knew she looked exhausted; the dark circles under her eyes were a dead giveaway. “I’ll be okay,” she whispered, more to herself than to Becky. Her voice trembled slightly as if she were trying to convince herself that she could handle whatever was coming next. The warmth of Becky’s presence was comforting, but it couldn’t chase away the cold dread that still clung to her, a shadow of the fear that had followed her all the way here.

Becky frowned, her concern deepening as she watched Yoko. “You’ve been through a lot,” she said softly, placing a hand on Yoko’s arm. “You need to take care of yourself, Yoko. You can’t keep going like this.”

“I don’t have much of a choice,” Yoko replied, her voice barely audible. She glanced around the bar, her gaze lingering on the patrons who were oblivious to the turmoil inside her. They didn’t know the weight she carried, the fear that gnawed at her every waking moment.

Becky sighed, her worry evident in her eyes. “Why don’t we get you something to eat?” she suggested, her tone lighter as if trying to lift the weight from Yoko’s shoulders. “There’s a new bakery down the street. Their cakes are to die for. I bet some sugar would do you good.”

Yoko hesitated, the idea of leaving the bar, even for a short time, filling her with anxiety. The bar was the only place she felt safe, and even then, it was a fragile sense of security. But the thought of being around others, especially Becky, even for just a little while, was tempting. The need for some semblance of normalcy, something to hold onto in the chaos of her life, was strong.

“Okay,” Yoko finally agreed, her voice soft and uncertain. “But just for a little while.”

Becky’s face brightened with a smile, the worry in her eyes dimming slightly. “Just for a little while,” she echoed, giving Yoko’s arm a reassuring squeeze. “Come on, let’s go before the cakes are all gone.”

**Present**

"Are you sure? I mean..." Yoko hesitated, her concern evident in her voice.

"Yokooo, I said naa, it's okay now." Becky waved off her worries without looking up, her mouth full of cake. "Well... angganammmsnfmnad," she mumbled, the words coming out garbled as she chewed.

"What was that?" Yoko asked, confused and a little annoyed.

Becky glanced up at her, signaling with a finger to wait until she finished chewing. As she swallowed, her eyes twinkled with a mix of mischief and reassurance. “I was saying, when Freen first heard you did something like that, she was grabbing a gun 'cause she was a little angry at first. But when I smacked her dic--  I mean smacker her , and I calmed her down, she relaxed. Then I told her your side of the story. Though I don’t know the full story myself, I believe you.” Becky finished in one breath, flashing Yoko an assuring smile.
