Story acchi nahi lagi kya??? Itna kam response hai

Karishma stepped inside. She placed her duffle bag on the bed, stretched her arms, and headed to the small bathroom to freshen up.

After splashing some cold water on her face, she felt more alert. She changed into a comfortable outfit and sat down on the edge of the bed. Taking a deep breath, she pulled out her phone and dialed her mother number

Ps:Karishma Pahunch gayi tum? Sab theek hai na?"

Ks:Haan, Amma yahan sab theek hai.

Ps:Theek hai beta. Waise ek baat batani thi bua ji ka phone aaya tha unke dekhne mai ek ladka hai dikhne mai bhi accha hai aur lawyer hai

Karishma’s expression immediately changed. She knew where this conversation was headed, and she wasn’t in the mood for it.

Karishma’s patience was wearing thin. She loved her mother, but this constant nagging about marriage was getting on her nerves.

Ks:Nahi, Amma main abhi shaadi ke liye ready nahi hu ham apko chodke kahi nahi jaane wale samajh mein aaya aapko

Ps:Beta, main sirf tumhara bhala chahti hoon. Akele zindagi guzaarna asaan nahi hota

Ks:Amma, please Abhi mujhe sirf apne kaam pe dhyan dena hai. Shaadi-shuda zindagi meri priority nahi hai aur abhi aage se shadi ka zikr bhi mat kijiye

There was a silence on the other end of the call. Karishma could almost feel her mother’s disappointment, but she wasn’t going to change her mind.

Ps:Theek hai, jaise tumhari marzi main toh bas tumhare bhale ke liye keh rahi thi

Ks (softening)Mujhe pata hai, Amma. Aap hi toh meri sab kuch ho. Par abhi please mujhe aur tang mat karo

Ps:Accha, chalo tum apna dhyan rakhna wahan

Ks:Haan rakhungi. Aap bhi apna khayal rakho aur jyada ham waha nahi hai isliye jyada chatrpatar mat kahiye

Ps laughed and cut the call

After hanging up, Karishma sighed deeply. This was an ongoing battle with her mother, and she knew it wasn’t going to end anytime soon. She got up from the bed and started unpacking her belongings, arranging them neatly in the small space. She set up her workstation on the small table in the corner and placed a few personal items around the room to make it feel more like home.

By the time she finished, the sun had already set. She heated the food her mother had packed and ate it quietly, her mind still occupied with the conversation she had just had. After dinner, she washed up and prepared for bed, her body tired from the long journey and the emotional toll of the day. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Karishma woke up early, feeling surprisingly refreshed. The village was still quiet, with only the sounds of birds chirping outside her window. She quickly frehsnup and got dressed in her tracksuit, laced up her running shoes, and stepped outside for a jog. The cool morning air hit her face, and she took a deep breath, savoring the freshness.

She started her jog along the narrow paths of the village, her mind gradually clearing with each step. The peaceful surroundings were a stark contrast to the bustling streets of Lucknow, and for the first time in a long while, she felt a sense of calm
