Malaysia

"Tilt your head a little" the photographer asked as I followed instructions. I finally got a photo shoot for this magazine so that made me a little happy.

"What's your name again?" The photographer asked as I answered

"Malaysia"

"Yeah we're just gonna call you Lay" he suggested as I shrugged not going to argue.

August

I rolled my suitcase behind me and pushed my shades closer to my face as I walked down the hallway of this rehab facility. I didn't want to do this bullshit but it was the only option left I had to redeem myself. I continued to walk until I heard someone call out my name. This is so embarrassing.

"August?" A female voice asked as I turned around

"Aaliyah?"

"Yeah. What are you doing here?" She asked I sighed getting prepared to always be asked this question.

"My label sent me here. I don't have a problem. I'm not addicted to anything. I just need attention off of me for a few months." I answered as she made a face

"Don't worry about me. Why are you here?" I asked changing the subject

"I'm doing my internship here. Rehabs need nurses too"

"Nobody's gonna take you serious as a nurse." I retorted as she scoffed and raised an eyebrow.

"Excuse me"

"You're immature, childish, annoying, rude, and messy. I wouldn't dare hire you anywhere." I continued being honest

"Okay first of all I've matured since high school. You're the one who needs help here August not me."

"Whatever why are you still here?" I asked already being annoyed with her presence

"I gotta go to my patient's room but you're holding me up." She stated calmly as I looked around the hallway

"I don't know where I'm going" I honestly admitted as she sighed and rolled her eyes

"Who's fault is that yours or mine? I'm going to room 117 so if your room is this way then follow me." she instructed as I looked down and read the paper the receptionist gave me. Room 117. I dropped the paper and begin walking the other way.

"August what the hell?" She asked while picking up the paler.

"I refuse for you to be my nurse. I don't trust you" I admitted as she propped her hand on her hip.

"Okay but you have no choice. Nobody knows you're in rehab so the others don't have time to plot against you. I could easily overdose you anytime. Your life is in my hands August. You have no choice but to trust me." She explained as I sighed grabbing the papers from her hand and rolling my suitcase into the room she walked us to.

"Just get settled. You might get a roommate in here so don't get too comfortable. They're gonna let you meet the other patients soon so be nice. You gotta deal with these people three months." she stated as I rolled my eyes. I couldn't stay here. I don't belong here.

Cameron

I did my daily jog through the park trying to stay in shape. I sighed and stopped walking when my phone started ringing and placed the Bluetooth headphone in my ear.

"Hello" I answered

"Cam? Just the guy I needed to talk to"

"What do you want Kendrick?" I asked getting slightly annoyed as I walked to a bench and sat down.
