I threw the bottle I was drinking out of to the side as I tried to maintain my nerves. With all the problems in my life alcohol seemed to be the only thing to evenly weigh it out.

"August this video release party is tonight and you're still not dressed. What's going on?" Heaven asked as she walked into my room. I just ignored her and got up walking to my closet.

After finally getting dressed I walked to the car getting in the backseat with the rest of my team.

"Aug calm down this sextape is the last thing on anyone's mind anymore and it's being taken down. Just relax and enjoy the night"

I rolled my eyes as the quote kept lingering in my mind. I stared at myself in the mirror as I put ice on my bruised face. The video release party was going great until Donte and I got into a physical altercation.

*Flashback

I walked into my party and everything was chill. It was invitation only so I wouldn't have to worry about other unnecessary bullshit. I didn't invite Donte's hormonal ass so I didn't see why he was here. He pushed past my security and that's when I decided to take matters in my own hands.

"Why the fuck are here?" I asked making my way over to him.

"August you would be nothing without me. I started majority of this shit for you. Right now you should be on your knees bowing down to me for helping you produce the video for this whack ass video release party. Not to mention your whack ass singing for your whack ass music and your whack ass Testimony" he snapped as I tried to calm myself down with a slight chuckle.

"Cherish was on her knees bowing down on this dick last night" I retorted and he got mad and pushed me. By now all attention was on us. I stepped back and rolled my eyes.

"I don't know why you're here but you're dumb ass better not touch me again." I continued in a serious tone.

"August I will shut this bullshit down" he warned as I rolled my eyes

"And you'll still be broke"

"Like your mom" he spat as I scoffed slightly chuckling again

"Go worry about which girl you want Malaysia or Cherish. It's been four years but Malaysia can still ride me like a porn star. Cause that's what she is now and if you ever get her just remember I can still take her from you. The same goes for Cherish." I retorted as he got mad. I struck a nerve with him. I honestly didn't know what I was saying because I was drunk as fuck. Then he punched me. Right hook to my jaw. Holding my face and being drunk my reaction and punch back was delayed. Before I knew it we were on the ground. Some people pulled us away from each other but it was too late. I knew the thought of us ever having a friendship again was over officially and so was my career because this whole scene was being filmed.

"August the label has an urgent meeting with you tomorrow" Heaven informed me as I sighed sitting the ice down. I knew what this was going to be about.

"Alright. I'll be there" I agreed as she walked out.
