"Wake up sunshine" Peterkin says, shaking John B and Bella after they fell straight asleep on the pull out after an eventful night.
"Morning officer" Bella greets with an eye roll as she gets up with a grunt.
"Now I won't keep up for too long, but I heard there was a fight on the beach last night. And a gun was involved" Peterkin explains as John B sighs and Bella clears the beer bottles off of the ground.
"Yea there was a fight, but a gun. No way" John B dismisses her.
"It's okay, i know who it was, I'll get to him later. For now I need you two do answer my questions" Peterkin says with a sigh. "Did you come across a boat in the marsh yesterday?" She asks as Bella and John B exchange looks before shaking their heads at the female police officer. "Good because it's better if you didn't" she says as Bella nods her head. "Now I'll keep DSC of both yalls backs if you do something for me" Peterkin offers.
"Why would DSC be after me?" Bella asks confused.
"Your father said that you haven't been home in weeks, and your neighbours say every time your there they hear screams, now I think you get the point" Peterkin explains.
"Look tit for that, stay out of the marsh for a couple of days and I'll keep DSC away" Peterkin says.
"Yep no problemo officer" Bella replies with a smug smile.
"I got dogs living better than this John, you might want to clean up" she says before closing the door behind her.
"Look all we gotta do is stay out of the marsh for a couple of days and Peterkin will keep DSC off pf our backs" John B explains to the group who is gathered around the doc.
"A cop John B you beloved an actual cop!" JJ yells in disbelief as Bella and Kie exchange glances of worry that a fight is about to erupt.
"Look you know there is something out there that they don't want us to see and I dont know about you but I want to find out what it is!" JJ yells put again.
"Look I get why you don't want to go your the golden boy" JJ says pointing to Pope. "And you're already rich as fuck anyways so why would you care?" JJ adds pointing to kie. "But you me and Bells, we got nothing to loose" JJ says as I nod with a smile.
"So I have a plan, you have a key to the Cameron's boat so sneak on and grab some breathing tanks and we'll dive down to the wreck and get whatever the cops are trying to keep us from" JJ explains with a big smile.
"I'm in" Bella says
"Me too" Kie adds
"Fine I guess I'm in" Pope says with a smile.
"JB, you with us?" JJ asks with hope in his voice.
"Hell yeah" John B answers as he goes off to get the tanks.
"You got empty tanks!" Kie scolds as we throw down the anchor at where the sunken boat is. "Great this on is a quarter full, one of us can go down" Kie explains.
"I'm up for it, you know it's really a dream of mine to meet nemo" Bella jokes as everyone but JJ shoots her a 'not now' glare and she just shrugs.
"I can dive" John B says
"Yeah you can dive, I'm cool with that" JJ says as pope hands him the scuba gear.
"Since when could you dive?" Kie asks as Bella nods her head in agreement.
"I'm not resuscitating you, just making that clear" Bella adds as John B rolls his eyes.
Bella takes off her shirt, revealing the same blue bikini she was wearing the other day and jumps in the water. "What was that all about?" Pope asks confused.
"I don't know. But I liked it. A lot" JJ says with a smirk as he watches bell re surface.
"I tied my shirt where you need to take your break" she informs as he nods his head mutttering a thanks.
"Be careful" Kie says as she places a kiss on his cheek and JJ and Bella share glances of confusion at eachother.
"Diver down?" John B questions.
"Yeah he is!" Bella yells pushing him in the water as JJ chuckles and Kiara sends her a glare.
About ten seconds later the pogues catch sight of a police boat comming there way, "shit guys I can't be here, I'm meant to stay out of the Marsh!" Bella yells as everyone turns to her with panicked looks.
"In the water" pope and JJ say at the same time.
"Wha-" Bella protests before being cut off as JJ and pope push her in the water.She swims under the boat so the officers don't see her.
She catches sight of John B comming up the line as she swims down to here. She shakes her head vigorously as she points at the officers boat and John B nods his head.
He can see that Bella is struggling to breath and even tred water so he points to his mask signalling for her to take it but she just shakes her head in response. Bella closes her eyes in hopes that the boat will go away soon when she feels someone's arm warp around her waist and pull her to shore. She lets out a gasp as all the pogues let out a sigh of relief.
"Wow I should be a free diver" She jokes, spluttering out water as pope and JJ help her out of the boat and Kie checks on JB who is holding a big black bag from the wreck.
"Yo guys bogee four a clock" John B alerts the group as they turn to see a suspicious and unrecognisable boat. "Should we wait on them?" He asks as everyone shakes there head.
"No way go, JJ get the anchor" Pope orderes as John B goes to drive the boat, pope and Kie go to the back of the boat and Bella helps JJ pull the anchor up at the front of he boat. "Guys there following us"
Just then gun shots ring through the air, "EVEYRONE GET DOWN" JJ yells out as he pulls Bella to the bottom of the boat and lays on top of her to protect her from any bullets hitting her body.
"JOHN B GET DOWN" Bella concerning yells out to her best friend as she catches eye of the fishing net and has an Idea.
She wriggles out of JJ's hold as he protests for her to get down as she grabs the net and throws it in the water as the other boats engine as they come to a stop. "THATS MY GIRL WHOO!" JJ yells in excitement as he picks her up and swings her around.
"Now let's get home and find out if we're rich or not" Bella says with a smile as John B drives them home. "One sec" she says, going to the back of the boat, "FUCK YOU!" She yells out sticking up both her middle fingers at the stuck boat as the rest of the pogues cheer and laugh.
"Open it come on!" Kie begs as we all are gathered around a black duffle bag on the edge of the doc.
"Come on JB we almost died for this!" Bella exclaims.
"Patience is key my friends" John B jokingly says as Bella rolls her eyes.
"Just open it already!" Pope yells as everyone turns to look at him in shock.
"Wow pope rate outburst for you" JJ says, patting his hand on this friends back.
John B opens the duffle bag to see a compass in the bag as everyone lets out groans that it isn't money, well everyone except John B. "What John B it's not worth anything?" Bella asks confused.
"It was my father's." He replies in shock.
