As Ash, Lillie, and Golly step into the Voltshield Kingdom, the air immediately crackles with a subtle energy that makes Ash's hair stand on end. The sky above, though clear, is streaked with faint, sporadic flashes of lightning that seem to dance between the tall, metallic spires scattered across the landscape.

"This place feels...different," Ash murmurs, his eyes scanning the surroundings. The ground beneath them is solid yet hums faintly, as if charged with unseen power.

Lillie kneels down to touch the grass, which is a vibrant green but occasionally emits tiny sparks. "Even the plants are alive with electricity," she notes, watching as a spark jumps from the grass to her hand, causing her to flinch slightly. "It's like the entire kingdom is connected to a giant power source."

Golly looks up at the towering lightning rods that seem to pierce the sky. "It's because this kingdom was formed from the Zap Plate," she explains, her voice carrying a hint of reverence. "The energy from the plate pulses through everything here, from the earth to the sky."

Ash turns his attention to the Pokémon around them. He watches as a group of Electrike dash past, their fur bristling with stored electricity, while Emolga glide effortlessly between the spires, using the natural currents in the air to stay aloft. "The Pokémon here are really in tune with the environment," Ash says, impressed by how seamlessly they move through the charged atmosphere.

A Jolteon appears on a nearby rooftop, its fur sparking as it scans the area, its ears twitching as it picks up the slightest changes in the electric field. "Even the Pokémon are on edge," Lillie observes, watching the Jolteon closely. "They're so sensitive to the electricity around them."

Golly nods, her eyes still fixed on the towering spires. "This kingdom thrives on electricity, but it also means that everything here is constantly on the brink of being overloaded. We'll need to tread carefully."

As the group continues their journey through the Voltshield Kingdom, Golly begins to recount the tale of its origins. "Long ago," she starts, "the first queen of this land, Dorophy Volt, arrived here in the most unexpected way. She was brought by a cyclone, which carried her house and her faithful Yamper, Toto, across the skies. When the house landed, it crushed the Wicked Witch of the East, a cruel ruler who had terrorized this region for years."

Lillie listens intently as Golly continues. "The Good Witch of the North appeared soon after and gifted Dorophy a pair of magical silver shoes that had once belonged to the Wicked Witch. The Good Witch told her that the only way to return home was to follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz could help her. But before she left, the Good Witch kissed Dorophy on the forehead, granting her magical protection."

Golly's voice takes on a more adventurous tone as she describes the journey. "Along the way, Dorophy freed a Scarecrow who longed for a brain, applied oil to the rusted joints of a Tin Woodman who wished for a heart, and met a Cowardly Luxray who desperately wanted courage. Together, they traveled down the yellow brick road, each hoping the Wizard could grant their wishes."

"They faced many dangers," Golly continues, "including the Wicked Witch of the West, who sought to capture Dorophy and steal her silver shoes. But in a moment of anger, Dorophy threw a bucket of water on the witch, causing her to melt away. With the witch defeated, Dorophy and her friends returned to the Emerald City, only to discover that the Wizard was just an ordinary man, brought to this land by a hot air balloon."

Ash listens closely, fascinated by the tale. "So, what happened to Dorophy?"

Golly smiles. "She discovered that the power to achieve her wish had been with her all along. The silver shoes could grant her any wish she desired. But instead of returning home, Dorophy wished to bring her family to this region, choosing to stay and protect the land she had come to love. And so, she became the first queen of the Electric Region, with her faithful Yamper by her side."
