A pile of clothes at the shore, splashes and sweet laughter under the setting sun...
A growing bond, love and unconditional trust.

"Please, Sasuke-kun," Sakura whined, tugging on his ankle as the ravenhead concentrated his chakra into the soles of his feet. While his girlfriend was happily paddling around the water, Sasuke refused to get in yet.

He had willingly undressed, yes, but as soon as his big toe had touched the surface of the cool stream, the entire idea seemed like a nightmare to him, hence Sakura's desperation - Sasuke was refusing to get in properly, and instead fought her tugs on his ankle and stood atop the water.

"Don't wanna," Sasuke grumbled in an almost shy tone, his muscular arms crossed over his chest and eyes fixated on a tree in the far distance which suddenly seemed really interesting to him. More interesting than swimming, at least.

The pinkette sighed and looked up at him with her big green eyes, pouting. She really wanted to teach her boyfriend how to swim. "It's shallow here," she mumbled quietly, causing him to glance down at her with his guarded dark eyes, "you'll be able to stand, I promise."

Sasuke wanted to run away, hide and refuse her request. But that wasn't who he was anymore. He had vowed to always make sure Sakura was happy, even if it meant sacrificing his own comfort. He would do anything for her, after all, which was why he reluctantly sunk into the soothing stream.

Sakura kissed her boyfriend's cheek proudly, feeling goosebumps arise on his pale skin. He was gripping her wrist tightly, although the water only reached his belly. Sasuke felt really stressed, his dark eyes darting around nervously. He didn't like this at all, being surrounded by water... 'Tch, so wet...' he thought to himself, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Let's try floating first!" Sakura announced excitedly, beaming at Sasuke. He didn't look happy at all, but he nodded nevertheless. The pinkette felt her cheeks burn up as she sprawled out her small hands over his muscular back, feeling his muscles twitch and clench. Her heart was starting to race.

The ravenhead looked clueless. He kept looking at Sakura over his shoulder, almost holding his breath even while not being underwater. "Relax," the pinkette instructed calmly, giving Sasuke a reassuring smile. He nodded curtly, the tension in his muscles loosening just a bit as he carefully lowered himself into the water, feeling Sakura's delicate hands support his back.

For the first few seconds he was floating, Sasuke felt a bit weird. And as his body started to realise what was happening, his breath hitched, and his arms and legs began to tremble, small waves starting to crash into the couple.

"Hey, Sasuke, it's okay," Sakura spoke quietly, squeezing her eyes shut as Sasuke waved his arms around. Her thumbs began to rub his back, and he slowly started to calm down again. "Just like that... You're okay," she whispered in a soothing tone, watching her boyfriend's toned chest move up and down in a even rythm. He was getting used to the water.

The ravenhead squinted one eye open and was immediately welcomed by Sakura's loving expression. The setting sun illuminated her face and her hair perfectly, it made Sasuke's heart flutter. He opened his other eye as well, his head sinking a bit further into the water.

As Sakura began to guide Sasuke through the shallow waters of the stream, it felt like the world was so quiet and only the two of them were left. The Uchiha never once took his eyes off of her, too captivated by her beauty and gentle demeanour. The Haruno couldn't stop looking at him either, his angelic face and calm expression pulling her in magically.

"You're so..." Sasuke whispered almost inaudibly, his expression awestruck and voice slightly shaky due to the nerves. His dark eyes darted back and forth between her green ones, and he felt as if he was melting. He loved her so much...

"You're so beautiful, Sakura," his lips quirked into a shy half-smile, a light pink blush tinting his cheeks. The pinkette's eyes widened and heat arose her neck and up to her face, her plump lips parting slightly. She started to grin sheepishly, her heart racing. Sakura couldn't believe that he found her beautiful. She loved him so much..

They loved eachother so much.

Massive waterfalls were cascading down the breathtaking mountains as cranes danced across the sky. Sasuke and Sakura took a bit more than a day to get there, with some lack of sleep, and it was early in the morning now. The view was glorious, and their nightly walk was just worth it; worth experiencing the magical beauty of the Hidden Waterfalls.

Sakura's green eyes sparkled, her lips lifting into a bright smile as she tugged on Sasuke's hand impatiently to get closer to the edge of the cliff. She gasped softly at the glorious view, looking at Sasuke with childish excitement. And even he looked a tad impressed, his usual stern expression replaced by a rare warmth.

"This is... this is incredible!" Sakura almost shouted, opening her free arm widely as she felt the cool breeze wafting through her clothes. Her pink hair looked wavy, maybe even a bit curly, because it had been wet after her and Sasuke's latest swim - the wind dried it, after all.

The Uchiha was worried that his overly excited girlfriend would tumble down the cliff in her carelessness, so he made sure to pull her closer to him, wrapping his one arm tightly around her waist. She immediately leaned back into his embrace, placing her small hands atop his large one which was absentmindedly rubbing small circles over her flat belly.

Because he was clearly taller than she was, Sasuke rested his chin on her shoulder while being forced to bend his back a bit. Her sweet scent, the one that reminded him so much of blooming cherry blossoms, filled his nostrils, causing his nose to tingle.

"It really is majestic," the Uchiha whispered in a low tone, tilting his head to the side to lean it against Sakura's. He was still feeling a bit down due to his intrusive thoughts about guilt and anxiety, which was why he craved some affection right now. Sasuke knew he needed to talk to Sakura about it, but he didn't want to just yet.

Sasuke wanted to enjoy this carefree moment for just a bit longer.

Sakura returned his sweet gesture by leaning her head against his aswell, his addictive scent catching her attention. To her, Sasuke smelled like a soothing candle. He always took care of himself well, yet his Fire-Jutsu was impacting his scent by its incredible heat too. Whenever she could catch a whiff of his scent, she felt so calm and relaxed.

"I'm happy," the pinkette mumbled almost inaudibly, hearing Sasuke hum in response. He tightened his arm around her waist, feeling overjoyed. Her happiness was the only thing he would ever ask for.

'As long as you're happy, I am too,' Sasuke thought to himself, his heart fluttering. It wasn't frozen anymore, not even cold... His heart was warm and full of love now, thanks to his spring sunshine and her support.

The two of them stood there for just a bit longer, enjoying the beautiful landscape and eachother's warm touch. After a bit, they started to hold hands again and walked towards the staircase leading down to the houses of the village which were built into the mountains there.

The young couple wondered what it would be like to live there; with such high views and staircases, and nothing but a huge river underneath. However, they were about to find out now, by spending time together in this beautiful village.
