So when I was eight or nine, my uncle invited my little sister and I to his house for a few hours. This was a big deal because we don't get to see him a lot. He told us we were gonna watch a movie that he found called the cobbler and the thief. He told us that it was a bit like the movie Aladdin, and some scenes weren't finished. So the day finally came and we watched the movie (I don't remember much about it) and I got food poisoning.
Fast forward today, its 7:00, I'm on YouTube and I find a video talking about how HORRIBLE the production of this movie was. I didn't realize that they were talking about the cobbler and the thief until I did, and a bunch of memories started coming back. It was super nostalgic and fun, not gonna lie.
My uncle kinda told me that the movie had a horrible production. The movie took 25 years to make, and there were scenes that were not finished or painted. It took like a bajillion dollars to make and ended up with 350K or something small for a movie... don't listen to me! This is very simplified information. Do your own research.
I don't remember the story but apparently it was bad. However the animation is VERY SPOT ON. Fun fact, the animation is 24 frames per second, which isn't your usual 12 frames per second.
So I'm not talking about this movie for the entire chapter. This isn't a rant book. So my mind got reintroduced to the main character of this movie, Tac. (He's the cobbler in this situation, btw) Now in my eight year old mind, I was like, "Oh, he's kinda cute."
GUYS... I... I... I DON'T THINK MY TAIST FOR CARTOONS HAVE CHANGED THE SLIGHTEST BIT. TAC IS ADORABLE.
So of course, when I see something that interests me, I draw it!!!

He kinda looks like Pomni from TADC. I think it's the eyes. Also that pose looks fucking uncomfortable.
Anyway, the movie is a 10/10 if your into animation or art. I haven't seen the movie in a VERY LONG TIME and I haven't seen the other half of the second act, and I've never even looked at the third act. Please tell me if you've seen this movie. Maybe we can rant together. Idk.
