Wade couldn't sleep that night. His mind was racing, filled with regret over what had happened between him and Logan earlier. Next to him, Logan seemed completely unbothered, wrapped around Wade like a lifeline, sprawled out and snoring loudly. Wade wanted nothing more than to snuggle into Logan, to lose himself in the warmth of his arms, but he couldn't shake the uneasy feeling gnawing at him.

He stared at the ceiling, thinking about how long this version of Logan would last. Would he wake up tomorrow and start pulling away again? Would he blow up over some small thing? And what did this even mean? Was Logan back just for the sex, or was there more to it? Wade wasn't sure, and that uncertainty gnawed at him, because he knew he wasn't going back to casual sex.

Logan looked so peaceful, so content. Wade wished he could feel the same way, but his heart was heavy with the realization that this couldn't continue. As much as it hurt, he knew he'd have to fully break things off with Logan in the morning.

but for now, it was just him and Logan, together in this bed, for what would probably be the last time. so Wade decided to enjoy it, he cuddles up next to Logan and let out a sigh as he relaxed in his arms.

it's a shame this feels so right, because he knows it's so wrong.

Logan woke up first, and for a moment, he just laid there, basking in what was probably the best sleep of his life. Everything felt right—perfect, even. Wade was curled up beside him, their bodies naturally fitting together as if they were meant to be. Logan felt a sense of peace that had been waiting for him for longer than he could remember. This was it. This was what he wanted. And he knew Wade wanted it too.

But Logan also knew that they couldn't keep going on like this. The unspoken tension, the uncertainty—it all had to be addressed. He was determined to talk to Wade, to finally put everything on the table. He was done running away from his feelings, done with the cycle of pushing Wade away only to pull him back again.

Logan spent the early morning hours carefully planning out what he was going to say. He wanted Wade to understand that he was serious about this—serious about them. He wasn't just looking for casual sex anymore; he wanted more. He wanted everything. And he was willing to fight for it, even if it meant having a difficult conversation.

As he sat there, watching Wade sleep peacefully beside him. Logan smiled to himself, feeling more certain than ever that this was where he was meant to be.

When Wade finally started to wake up, Logan's heart pounded in his chest. This was it—the moment he'd been building up to all morning. He waited until Wade's eyes opened and adjusted to the morning light before speaking.

"Morning, Wade," Logan said softly, his voice a little rough from sleep.

Wade blinked a few times, groggily coming to his senses. "Morning," he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep.

Logan hesitated for a second, then took a deep breath. "We need to talk."

The words hung in the air, and Wade's expression shifted, the sleepiness fading as reality set in.

Wade just looked at Logan, knowing he was about to tell him that last night was a mistake.

Logan sat up a bit, running a hand through his messy hair. "About us. About last night, and... everything."

Wade sighed, already feeling the weight of the conversation pressing down on him. "Logan, look, I—"

"No, just... let me talk first," Logan interrupted, his tone gentle but firm. "I've been thinking about this all morning, and I need you to know where I'm at."
