"Good morning", Juvenal says pecking me on the forehead. I rubbed my sleepy eyes to see him more clearer, burying the side of my face in his chest. "Good morning. How long have you been awake?" "I've been up since six", he says. "I went to the store to get a few things then I came back. I wasn't gone long." I yawned in my hand. "What time is it now?", I asked. "It's nine-thirty." "Oh shit!", I sat up quickly. "I gotta go out and get some stuff for the beach!" "Sweetheart", Juvenal laughs, gently rubbing my arm.
"Relax, I got everything that we need for the beach when I was out earlier." "Oh. I-I'm sorry", I sat back on the bed in embarrassment. "It's okay. Come here", he says bringing me closer to him again. "I need you to start being calm and stop overthinking things, you hear me?" "Yes." "Good. Now, let's get up and get ready and we'll meet up again, let's say in an hour or two. Okay?", Juvenal says. "Okay." I got out of the bed to get dressed again, then we walked to the front door, laughing at each other.
"Thank you for the lunch date yesterday and last night", I smiled. "Anytime, sweetheart", Juvenal says. "Can I kiss you again?" I laughed while covering my mouth. "Sure." He placed his hand on the side of my face, pulled me closer, then kissed me. A few moans slipped from my lips as I felt myself getting moist down below. "Sorry", Juvenal says in between our kissing. "You're fine", I laughed. After about a minute, we let go and said our goodbyes. I went back to my apartment with this big grin on my face, leaning against the door as if I was in a movie. My phone dinged. It was my dad.

Awwww! After all of these years, he still says "my Halloween baby". I love this man with all my heart! I called him while I was going through my closet to look for an outfit for today. "Hello?", he answered. "Good morning, daddy!", I said excitedly. "I seen your message." "Hey, baby girl, and I got caught up with work all day today", my dad says. "It's fine, dad. I promise. I'm going to be a little busy myself today."
"What are your plans for today", he asks. "Well, I'm going to the beach today, and after that, probably nothing." "I'm surprised you didn't go your first week in your apartment", he laughs. "That's because I've been working a lot lately. That would've been the first place I would've visited my first day here!", I laughed. "How's mom?" "Same old, same old. I wanted her to come with me tomorrow, but she kept making excuses, so I'm coming by myself", my dad says.
"That's not surprising, but I'm happy you're still coming, regardless of her excuses. I really appreciate it because I've been a little home sick." "I know, I felt it last night, that's why I texted you", my dad says. "No matter how old you get, you'll always be my baby girl." I put my AirPods in and got in the shower. "You're going to make me cry before I even see you." "It'll be okay", he says. "Well, I'm going to let you go and call me later, okay. "I got you, dad. I love you." "I love you more, Pumpkin. Be safe out there", my dad says.
"I will." He hung up and my music started to play as I showered for about 15 minutes. I got out to get dressed, did my hygiene, my hair, then I was out the door again, seeing Juvenal coming out at the same time, taking stuff to his truck. "Perfect timing", he smiles. "You okay?" He hugs me. "Yeah, I'm actually great!", I laughed. "You?" "Yeah, I'm great", he says. "Get in." He opens the door so I could get in, shuts it, then got in on the driver side.
