When Avery learns that a past murderer has broken out of Azkaban, in search of Harry James Potter, she fears that her group of friends is not safe at Hogwarts. She fears that something that will effect Harry's future for the worst will happen with year.
Things continuously get worse for Harry as the year proceeds, along with a vile creature called a Dementor. Multiple of these depressing creatures patrol the outer area of Hogwarts, and it seems to have a horrible effect on Harry.
As the year continues to go on, despite the worsening conditions for Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Avery, she knows not what will be uncovered about her mother and her past. It changes Avery's perspective on everything she has once been taught.
