Satogou- Time Flies

Chapter 2: Enchanted

   When I woke up, I didn't know where I was. It was very warm, and I couldn't get my eyes to open properly. I muttered sleepily and rolled over. I felt warm air gently hit my face. My eyes popped open, and it took my a minute to get used to the darkness. Ash was in my arms, snuggly sleeping, and he was breathing him my face. I should of know this would happen. I felt a cold chill enter my blood. I was terrified. He was so comfy though. I looked down at his face, which was smashed on my arm. He looked stupid, but adorable. How would he react if he woke up? I couldnt move my arm, as he was laying on it. I didnt know what to do.

   I sighed and rested my head. He wouldn't budge. He was comfortably snuggled into my chest. I gave a small smile. It didn't matter. I loved him. He is my bestfriend, and I didn't care. Well.. I did. But I also knew I would get used to it. I rested my head on top his and closed my eyes. His hair was soft and smooth, and soon I was out again.

   "Goh?" I felt Ash sit up, "Good morning! Its almost eight! We gotta get ready for the day!" He gently shook me. I opened my eyes and looked into his shiny amber eyes. My arm felt cold without him laying on it. I sat up groggily. 

   "Morning, sunshine" Ash teased when he saw my tired face. He got out of bed, threw A pillow at my face, and went to the bathroom. I swung myself out of bed and gathered some clothes as I waited for my turn for the bathroom.

   Ash came out wearing grey sweatpants, And a white tank top with a big red stripe going horizontally on his chest. I shook his messy hair with my hand as I walked past him, feeling more awake. I came out wearing A crimson red shirt and black scrub-like pants. To my surprise, he was sitting on my bed waiting for me. And we left the room and headed down the stairs for breakfast.

   When we came in I heard a sigh on the microphone, "Oh-! Thank goodness" Serena gave a relieved laugh, "I was worried that Ash-" she paused, "and Goh... Wouldn't make it!" I rolled my eyes, everyone knew Serena really cared for Ash. But don't we all? He's so loveable, and sweet, and he's fearless! And when his hair is messy he's so adora- "Ash?!" Serena came over, without the microphone, with a disappointed and scolding look, "Your hair is a disaster! Didn't you think to clean up for- breakfast?!" 

   Ash gave a sad look. I smiled at him gently. In my opinion, his hair looks amazing, messy or not. But I think its cute right now. Serena was now picking at Ash's hair. She looked so uncomfortable with it this way. Ash looked like he didn't know what to do. I didn't either, so I walked over to where everyone else was.

   Eventually, Serena went back to the microphone and said, "The very talented girls, Mallow, Chloe, Lillie, and yours truely, made this scrumptious breakfast!" Everyone started clapping, I clapped too, but it felt weird as she complimented herself in a way.

   Ash put his arm around my shoulders as he pushed us through the crowd and we got some food. We sat down at the huge dining table. He was so excited to start eating. It was waffles made from scratch and fruit salad. He reached over for the chocolate syrup bottle, and dunked a huge amount of chocolate onto his waffles. I couldn't help smiling at him as I pour a good amount of maple syrup onto mine. 

   Ash started eating quickly, while I savored mine. I heard Dawn and Chloe chattering quietly. I kept giving Ash glances as I swallowed a bite of waffles. When Ash finished, he cutely licked chocolate syrup off the plate, and in the corner of my eye, I saw Serena at the other side of the corner glaring. Ash grinned as he set the plate down. There was a drop of syrup on his nose, and I saw Serena getting up from the table. She quickly flew around the table, all eyes on her. I knew what she was doing, and I didn't like it. I quickly licked my finger and wiped chocolate off Ash's nose. He stared at me, mouth open a little. Serena gave a silent humph and walked down the hall where the bathroom was. Ash grinned, "what was that for?" He gave a little laugh.
