CHAPTER 2

I could taste freshly baked cookies. I slowly started waking up and I looked around and saw Percy in the there bed awake with Grover next to him. Grover heard me move and came rushing over "Your awake" "What happened is everyone alright?" I wanted to know Percy was ok, he looked fine but I wanted to be sure. Then Percy rushed out of bed and went outside I knew what he wanted to know, he wanted to fix our Father but I knew he wasn't here he never was. I told Grover to go and follow him make sure he doesn't do something stupid. I sat there thinking about what happened, how I should have protected my mother from the Minotaur how it was my fault she is gone now it's my job to look after Percy. The door rushed open and I whipped my head round and saw him, Luke he looked like he just ran a from one end of the country to another. "your awake.... I mean.. I am happy your awake wasn't planning on telling people you died" I sat there and giggled I always did round Luke, even as my best friends I am still nervous round him "yha I am awake can still taste cookies" I giggled again "but I should be fine soon only a knock to the head" "well I am happy your alright and awake Annabeth saw Grover run by running after someone and he quickly said that you was awake so I thought I would check and see if he was telling the truth" I looked around and saw flowers on the side, I wondered who they was from cause there was no card near by "urmm I should head back to the Cabin inspection is soon wanna get them high points" as Luke said that we smiled at each other and off he went. Now was a good time to find Grover and Percy make sure Mr D hasn't killed them yet.
I walked down and saw Chiron. Oh did I forget to mention Mr Brunner is Chiron, he's half man half horse he hides his horse form in his wheelchair he sometimes has it round camp but not often. "Percy is being showed round camp with Annabeth but you know as he's not been claimed his staying in the Hermes Cabin with Luke" I was upset that Percy my own brother was not in our father's cabin but I understood I knew Luke would look after him for me "oh and did you receive Luke's flowers..that boy was worried when he saw u against that tree unconscious he little ran and took you straight to camp, and don't get me started about not leaving your side, Annabeth had to dragged him away so he could get some sleep" I looked at Chiron confused, so it was Luke who got me the flowers and who I felt carry me into camp I thought it was Percy but guessing it wasn't.
I thanked Chiron and went to find Luke, I checked the Sword fighting area and he wasn't there so the next place was his Cabin, the Hermes Cabin where children of Hermes and the not claimed go to stay. As I walked towards the Cabin I saw him with the other Cabin Members he looked calmer than earlier. I slowly made. My way up to him, what was I gonna tell him 'hey Luke thanks for the flowers Chiron told me about them' I had different scenarios going through my head, I was never like this with Luke before only the end of last year I began to feel like this.
"Hey Lyra, guess you know Percy is staying at my Cabin, don't worry I will keep a eye on him for you when you cannot make sure he is safe...." I had to say it I couldn't get it off my mind I had to say something about the flowers "thanks for looking after him for me Luke that's really nice of you" I said knowing that I will slowly regret it after "hey no problem that's what friends do right".. Yha what 'friends' do "I have to go to my Cabin to sort my things out see you at dinner maybe" I said as I walked away, I wanted to thank him for the flowers as they was my favourite. Blue Hydrangeas, surprise surprise blue I know but I love Blue I think it's from being the daughter of a sea god and the Sea is blue but I loved them.

I walked to my cabin and saw Percy standing there looking at it. "hey Percy what's up for you would be unpacking at the Hermes Cabin and getting settled in?" "Heard this is your Cabin guess your dad claiked you already i bet it's nice in there" I felt bad for him dad hasn't claimed him yet l, I knew I had to find a way for Dad to find a way to claim him I had to Percy had to know who our Dad was "Yes Percy this is mine I have it to myself for now, it get lonely but i have my friends out here in the other cabins to hang out with when I need them" hopefully dad claims him soon because Percy would not be happy else being in the Hermes Cabin forever I mean he's got Luke but it's not the same, family should be together in the same Cabin if they have the same parent and I know we do cause Mom told me. "I saw you and that guy from the Hermes Cabin talking are you two a thing?" Percy asked out of no where I didn't know what to tell him, to what we know we are friends but I wanted more than that but I knew we would never be that. "urrmm we are just friends Percy he was here the same time as me when I joined camp and we have another friend called Annabeth she is in the Athena cabin I think you already met here I heard Chiron asked her to show you round the cabins" I looked at him and saw him going red I knew something was up so I stood there and laughed, Percy liked Annabeth never thought that day would come they r opposites. Percy then walked away to somewhere I looked at the time and knew it was time to get into the cabins and sleep which I knew I wouldn't be able to do cause I slept most if the day from the Minotaur fight. I went into the Cabin sorted my stuff out and just sat on the bed. We wasn't allowed any phones in camp just in case monsters or other people can track all the demigods. So I went to the bookshelves and found a Book I brought last summer I never got round to reading so I sat and watched that while the moonlight from the window reflected on the water fountain in the middle of the Cabin. I asked Chiron to get rid of the bunk beds as when Percy joined it would end up in a argument so they separated to two different beds it was like two separate bedrooms, mine was made to feel comfortable being in the Cabin and I had loads of blankets cause it gets cold sometimes and everyone complains I knew I was missing a few cause I saw Annabeth walking around camp wrapped in one but I said nothing and let her have it as I knew she would hand it back when she wanted to. I looked at the time after reading a few chapters and saw it was getting late so I thought maybe it would be good to get a few hours sleep.
