When I got home, Gabby was sitting in the living room looking over some papers with my sister's head resting on her lap in a deep sleep.

"I specifically waited for you, how did it go?" She asked quietly.

"I don't even know where to start." I replied as I poured myself a glass of neat whiskey.

"That bad?" Gabby looked between me and the drink in my hand and put her papers down.

"You remember Jennifer?"

"Ugh unfortunately yes...why?" She's sitting there looking at me puzzled and I started to laugh.

"Would you believe me if I told you that YOUR best friend hooked up with her?" I sat back and just started sipping directly from the bottle as she busted out laughing. This was fucking crazy.

"Wait a second.." Gabby said in between laughs, at this point she couldn't keep it down, and I couldn't help the belly laugh that escaped my lips. Reagan started to slowly wake up which just made it worse.

"What's going on?" Reagan asked sheepishly and yawned as she sat up.

"Tell me you're joking," Gabby said after we were done laughing.

"I wish I was" by the time I was done explaining what happened, both her and Reagan were sitting there completely flabbergasted.

"She's your best friend baby, you should talk to her." Reagan said afterwards, looking directly at Gabby.

"And say what exactly?" Gabby replied, pouring herself another drink.

"Maybe she likes you. I mean don't get me wrong I know she's never liked me from the very beginning, rightfully so, but this whole thing is just so childish it's got to be more than that."

"If she does like me that would be quite unfortunate." Gabby said not even giving it a second thought. Could it be possible ? I mean they grew up together. They've been so close for so long, it wouldn't be such a crazy idea for Steph to have feelings for Gabby.
