It Started With A List

In the world many different lists exist. Good, bad, educational, informative, silly, and interesting. Lists contain many different things and differ from person to person. For Mina of Class 1-A she had a special list, one she had hidden in her dorm room from the eyes of her classmates. A list containing which of her classmates she thought were compatible and why she thought so. She loved to think of how her classmates would fall in love and was elated when her thoughts were proven correct like when Denki and Jiro finally got together. It fueled her theories, encouraged her to think more deeply about the way people around her interacted. Especially with the class rep and the purple haired soft spot he had.

Mizuki had come to UA a bit later than the rest of her classmates, having been on a waiting list for if a student happened to be expelled like Mineta had been for perving on the girls in class. She had curly purple hair that seemed to have a mind of its own, she showed a deep compassion towards her classmates, she had grown close with Ochako over the months, and she seemed to enjoy pestering the class rep in a lighthearted manner. She was always messing with his hair, being one of the taller girls in the class only a mere 3 inches shorter than Momo. She would tease him constantly, nudging his foot with hers when they sat together, laughed at his jokes wholeheartedly even when nobody else did. When she would fall asleep in the common room reading a book Iida would put one of his blankets over her, make sure she's asleep, and would admire her when she wasn't looking through the day. He was soft with her, taking a calmer approach when speaking with her and making sure she didn't get hurt. He would always catch her when she tripped, the blush that would form on their faces not going unnoticed by Mina.

Mina had discovered over time that Iida was soft with Mizuki and it fueled her wildfire of an imagination on them as a couple. Though Mizuki got along with almost everyone Mina had decided that Iida would be the perfect match for the girl with threads in her fingers.

The pink girl was ecstatic as she entered her dorm room with Ochako and Momo, the only two she felt comfortable with showing the list. "I got something I want to show you guys but you've gotta keep it a secret! Got it?" She asked shifting her weight from one foot to the other, a bashful look on her face as she casted her eyes downward. "Oh of course Mina, we would never betray your trust. Right Ochako?" Momo's voice came soft, her gentle hand coming to rest on Mina's shoulder with a warm smile. Ochako nodded enthusiastically in agreement, "That's right! We promise Mina, you can tell us anything." She affirmed.

A smile grew on Mina's face at the encouragement of her dear friends, nodding to herself before rummaging through her desk. She grabbed a hot pink spiral notebook and brought it to her bed, the two joining her as she opened it. "I have a list of who I think is most compatible in our class. It started as a way to figure out everyone's personalities and then it became more of who's most compatible with who. One of which was Denki and Jiro." Mina admitted while showing her list to them. Two names stuck out to Ochako: Iida and Mizuki. "You think Iida and Mizuki are compatible? I'm not saying you're wrong but I'm curious about why." She said while rubbing her chin. 'It does make sense, Mizuki's down to earth personality compliments Iida's uptight nature.' She thought to herself.

"Well do you guys ever notice how Mizuki always messes with Iida's hair? Like every day in the morning she'll come behind him and ruffle his hair, normally Iida would be annoyed by it from anyone else but he seems to be a little soft with her and actually smiles when he sees she did it." Mina pointed out while flipping to a page dedicated to the two. "She has a calming effect on him."

"I have noticed that Iida seems to admire her when she's painting and gets flustered when she posts on TigTog." Momo added while nodding, the boy seemed to always be aware of her movements and would often catch the purple haired girl when she tripped. Ochako paused for a moment before a grin grew on her face. "I have an idea. What if we have a little party in the dorms this weekend and play 7 Minutes In Heaven but rig it so that Iida and Mizuki end up in the closet together?" She suggested making a sly grin form on Mina's lips. "I like the way you think!" She cheered while Momo smiled nervously. 'I have a feeling that there's no arguing here...' she thought to herself.
