Stan leaned in close to Liv, a mischievous grin on his face as he whispered, "You know, after all that fire you just showed, maybe we could sneak out for a little date tonight. Just the two of us." He winked, the playful glint in his eye making it clear what he had in mind.

Liv raised an eyebrow, her lips curling into a smirk. She knew exactly what he was hinting at, and while they had been dating for four months, they had never crossed that line. It wasn't that she didn't want to—it was just that things had always felt so natural between them that they hadn't rushed into anything.

Still, hearing Stan suggest it now, after everything that had happened that day, made her feel a little warm inside. His confidence was one of the things that had drawn her to him in the first place, and the fact that he found her feistiness attractive only made her feel more connected to him.

"You know, Stan," Liv said teasingly, "you don't have to wait for me to get into a fight to suggest some alone time."

Stan chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, well, I thought I'd give you a reason to get even feistier." He gave her a playful nudge with his elbow.

Liv laughed, enjoying the banter between them. But beneath the teasing, she knew he was serious. He cared about her deeply, and this was just another step in their relationship. She looked into his eyes, and for a moment, her heart raced.

"I'll think about it," she said, her voice soft but playful. "But let's see how the rest of today goes first."

Stan's grin widened, his face flushing slightly as he nodded. "Fair enough. But you know where to find me when you're ready."

Liv laughed again, giving him a light push. "Goofball." But even as she turned away to help Mabel find her next notebook, her mind lingered on Stan's suggestion. Maybe tonight would be the night.

They finished up their shopping, with the twins' chatter filling the car on the way home. But through it all, Liv and Stan exchanged quiet smiles and glances, a silent understanding passing between them.

Later that evening, after the twins were settled and the house quieted down, Liv found Stan waiting for her in the living room. He was nervous, she could tell, but trying not to show it.

"Still up for that date?" he asked, his voice low, filled with warmth.

Liv smiled, walking over to him. "Yeah. I think I am."

Stan pulled her close, and for a moment, they stood in silence, enjoying the peace of the evening. There was no rush, no pressure. Just the two of them, taking the next step when it felt right.

They were sitting together on the couch when he brought up the idea of going to the drive-in theater. Stan lit up when he saw Liv's excitement, He had been listing off a few classic movies playing that night, but the moment he mentioned 'Beetlejuice', Liv practically jumped out of her seat.

"Oh my gosh!" Liv exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement. "I haven't seen that in years! We have to go see it."

Stan chuckled at her enthusiasm. "I figured you'd like that one. It's a classic, and I'm all for seeing it again if it gets you that excited."

Liv smiled, her excitement contagious. She hadn't been to a drive-in in forever, and 'Beetlejuice' was one of her favorites. It was just the right mix of creepy and funny, and she loved the quirky characters.

Stan got up from the couch, already grabbing his keys and wallet. "Alright then, it's settled. Drive-in it is. We'll grab some snacks on the way—can't watch 'Beetlejuice' without a mountain of popcorn."

Liv chuckled, standing up to grab her jacket. "Agreed. Let's get going before all the good spots are taken!"

As they drove to the theater, Liv couldn't stop smiling. She loved these moments with Stan—no frills, just the two of them doing something simple, yet meaningful. It was the first time in a while that she'd felt so light and carefree, and she was grateful for how much Stan could make her laugh and relax. He was goofy and brash at times, but that was part of what made her love him.

When they pulled into the drive-in, the large screen looming against the darkening sky, Liv felt a surge of nostalgia. The lot was already filling up, and Stan managed to snag a good spot toward the middle. They parked, rolled down the windows, and settled in with their snacks as the previews began.

Stan glanced over at Liv, noticing how happy she looked, her eyes shining as the familiar opening credits of 'Beetlejuice' rolled across the screen. He grinned to himself, knowing this was exactly what they needed—a night out, just the two of them, without any distractions or worries.

Liv leaned her head on Stan's shoulder as the movie played, the two of them laughing at the absurdity of it all. It was perfect—simple and fun, just like them.

By the time the movie ended, Liv was practically buzzing from excitement. "That was even better than I remembered!" she said as they started driving back.

Stan smiled, taking her hand in his. "I'm glad we came. I haven't seen you this happy in a while."

Liv turned to him, her face softening. "You always know just what I need, Stan."

He squeezed her hand gently, his heart full. "Well, you deserve it, Liv. Every bit of happiness."

As they drove through the quiet streets, Liv leaned back in her seat, thinking about how much she loved these little moments with Stan. It wasn't about grand gestures or big plans—it was about how he made her feel every day, in the small, thoughtful ways that mattered most.
