The weekend passed in a flurry of activity, with Liv, Stan, and the twins lightly decorating the Mystery Shack in preparation for their big Halloween party. Liv suggested they take their time with the decorations, making sure everything was perfect by the big night. Over the next two weeks, they could add more spooky touches and even design flyers to spread the word around Gravity Falls.

Everyone agreed with Liv's plan. Mabel had already started brainstorming her costume ideas, and Dipper, despite his initial reservations, began sketching out designs for the flyers, making them as mysterious as possible to pique the town's interest.

Stan, of course, was mainly focused on how much money they could rake in from the party. "We'll charge extra for the haunted house tour," he said, grinning as he mentally calculated the profits. "Maybe even a spooky souvenir stand!"

Liv chuckled at Stan's excitement. She loved seeing him like this—so full of energy and enthusiasm. And even though his money-making schemes were a constant, she knew he genuinely enjoyed bringing people together in his own quirky way.

As the days went by, Stan and Liv were still as close as ever, often sneaking in little moments of affection when they thought no one was looking. Liv would catch Stan giving her a wink from across the room, or he'd surprise her with a quick kiss while she was hanging up decorations. Their chemistry was undeniable, and though they'd been together for months, it felt like their connection grew stronger with each passing day.

Ford, on the other hand, was too engrossed in his journals to pay much attention to the upcoming party or the growing decorations around the shack. He spent most of his time in his room or out in the woods, still studying the mysteries of Gravity Falls.

The twins, being typical teenagers, bounced between helping with the party preparations and getting lost in their own world of school, friends, and their usual misadventures. Mabel would occasionally swoon over potential party themes or costumes, while Dipper balanced his curiosity about Ford's work with the excitement of the upcoming Halloween festivities.

One afternoon, while hanging cobwebs in the corner of the gift shop, Liv glanced over at Stan, who was lounging on the couch, casually flipping through a comic book. "You know," she said with a smirk, "you could help me with these decorations instead of just sitting there."

Stan looked up, giving her a playful grin. "I'm supervising. Can't have you hanging those cobwebs all wrong."

Liv rolled her eyes but smiled as she climbed down from the ladder. "That's fine, no
fornicating tonight then." She whispered hoping no one heard besides Stanley

He put down the comic and stood, walking over to her and slipping his arms around her waist. "I suddenly feel like helping you hang cobwebs"

Liv couldn't help but laugh. "I sure made you get up from your seat"

"Absolutely," Stan said, leaning in to kiss her cheek.

As the weekend came to a close, the Mystery Shack started to look more and more like the haunted house they had envisioned. There was still a lot of work to do, but with two weeks left until Halloween, they had plenty of time to fine-tune the decorations and get the flyers out to the town.

The next morning, Stan sat at the kitchen table with Liv, discussing final details for the flyers. "Think we should offer some kind of prize for best costume?" Stan asked, scribbling on a notepad.

"That sounds like a good idea," Liv replied, sipping her coffee. "It'll definitely encourage more people to come."

"And more people means more money," Stan added with a grin.

Liv shook her head. "Of course, that's where your mind goes."

As they continued their planning, Mabel came bouncing into the room, already dressed in a Halloween sweater adorned with pumpkins. "I can't wait for this party! It's gonna be the best Halloween ever!"

Dipper followed behind her, rolling his eyes but smiling. "Yeah, Mabel, we know. But you better save some energy. There's still a lot of work to do."

Liv smiled as she watched the twins banter, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her. This quirky, chaotic family had become her world, and she wouldn't trade it for anything.

With two weeks left until the big event, they all knew there was plenty to do. But for now, there was a sense of excitement in the air, and Liv couldn't wait to see the final result of all their hard work.
