The Lost Princess of Kellaen

Prologue

1997 December 17, 3:00 A.M. Friday

"Push, Push," said the castle's midwife/doctor.

"Come on, just one more push, and your there Kelisa." said the husband

With one last push and scream, the baby girl was finally out. Kelisa cried and cried for the birth and happiness of her newborn baby. The doctors took the baby girl away and cleaned her, wrapped her in a purplish and pink blanket, and handed her back to Kelisa. Once Kelisa had the baby girl, her husband Mikah looked into her eyes and smiled, then both of them looked into the eyes of their daughter and gasped. The daughter's eyes were purple with gold and blue specks around the irises.

"She has the most unusual eyes." Mikah said

"What shall we name her?" Kelisa asked

"How about Cenia Sarelina Scarlett Cortel?" asked Mikah's dad Emile.

Kelisa and Mikah looked at each other and smiled. "Perfect." They said cheerfully.

......later that night......

Everyone had gone to bed after Kelisa had given birth to princess Cenia and slept all through the day. Mikah was in the shower and Kelisa was still sleeping next to the baby crib. Thirty minutes later there was a noise inside their room. But Mikah and Kelisa didn't think anything of it. Then they heard the castle alarm go off. Both of them woke up and ran down the stairs and into the security office.

"What's happening?" Kelisa asked

"Someone's breached the perimeter. " one of the guards said.

"Do we know who?" Mikah asked in a strong deadly voice.

"No sir." said the head guard

"Check the rooms of the castle!" demanded Mikah

The guards flicked through all of the rooms that had cameras in them (which is basically all of them) and stopped on the image of their room where the baby slept.

"Something's not right." Kelisa said panicking hoping that no one had taken their little girl.

In the image the window was open and the curtains torn. What stuck out the most was the note on the nightstand by their bed.

Both Kelisa and Mikah looked at each other.

"The baby!" They said and took off running to their room, with guards right behind them.

When they got there the baby was sleeping peacefully in her crib. Mikah went and shut and bolted the windows closed. Kelisa went and looked at the note. When she was about to open it, baby Cenia started crying. Mikah went and picked her up and was rocking her back to sleep. Kelisa opened the note and read it aloud. It said:

"Dear sister,

I am sorry to say that my niece is in danger, the Vampire King wants her. You must send her away immediately.  At the age of 18 she will shift, but she will be the only one of her kind. I know this is hard for you but you must trust me. I will come for her on the night of her shift. I will guide and protect her.  At the age of 11 she will receive some of her powers. I tell you, BE SAFE. She will know who you are the night she has received her full powers. She will shift three times out of every two full moons. Once she is  trained I will bring her safely back to you. But until then. Be Safe, Be Careful,  and Keep Watch.

Your Dear Brother, Caius"

Kelisa gasped at the letter. Something is not right. Why would the the Vampire King want our daughter,  she thought but didn't realize that she had said it out loud.

"I don't know why but I intend to find out." Mikah said

"Do we really have to send her away?" Kelisa asked nervously.

"I'm afraid we have to sweetheart. " he said sadly while looking at his precious little girl.

So the night after the note was read, Kelisa and Mikah sent baby Cenia away to live with other werewolves.

And that was the last time that they ever saw their little girl again.
