"She is not going anywhere." said Alpha Cortez in a voice so sexy and dangerous that warmth spread through my body.
What is happening to me? Why do I feel this way towards an Alpha?
I looked down and whimpered until I sensed Alpha Sebastian. He walked over towards me and hit me across the face. I can already feel my face swelling and numbing. I guess that will just add to all the rest of my bruises. I have had enough of being abused and talked about. Two of the men that came with Alpha Cortez held back my lowlife Alpha.
"You little bitch!" he yelled.
"You ruined everything. I wish you were dead." He yelled some more but I just blocked him out. Alpha Cortez went up Sebastian and punched him in the mouth. All you heard was a loud crack!!! Cortez broke Sebastian's jaw bones.
"You do not hit a woman, you do not call her names and MOST of all YOU DO NOT WISH FOR HER DEAD, you ungrateful piece of shit!!! Alpha Cortez said while repeatedly punching Sebastian.
Sebastian received one final punch to knock him out unconscious, before Cortez turned around and started walking towards me.
As he came towards me I backed away from him, afraid that he was gonna hit me.
"Hey, hey, hey! I am not going to hurt you." He said
He leaned down beside me and took my hand. He pulled it away from my face. I immediately felt sparks but they were barely there. I knew he was my mate but he didn't because I have yet to shift. He lifted my chin and our eyes met.
We just stared at each other.

When I heard someone fall I raced out to help them. But when she looked up at me I hear my mother, father, and sister gasp. I look at my Beta, Gamma, and Delta's faces confused. I knew something wasn't right because of the way their faces paled.
"Are you alright?" I asked her and she nods and looks down.
"Look at us, sweetheart." My mother said
"I can't " the girl said quietly. Almost to quiet for me to hear.
I wonder why she keeps her head down.
"She is scared of getting hurt." My wolf Dustin said.
'I know but why?'
'I don't know' Dustin replied and shut off the mindlink.
"Why not?" My sister Annelysian asked
"Because if I do they will beat me."
