But soon kicked the familiar scent, a unique one which always reminded him of the wet soil and rain. A tap on his shoulder, and Jungkook turned around faster than ever.
His eyes that shined with hope, dimmed down to being blank again. Dalny who was quick to catch onto his emotions, bit onto her lips in guilt. It was Haneol who gladly sprayed her favorite perfume on her.
"She's not anywhere on the upper floor Jungkook." Dalny shook her head, while her hands clutched tightly on to the material lazily hugging her body.
Jungkook gulped, wishing for the knot to clear but it just deepened with pain, shutting his eyes close as his brains calculated all the possibilities to search for Haneol.
"Look, let's get the car and search-" His words were interrupted.
"Jungkook?" Both Dalny and Jungkook stared at each other wide eyed, questioning through them if they both were hallucinating about the same thing.
"Dalny? What are you guys doing-" Before she could even complete herself, Haneol found herself being tackled by a strong force which didn't let her stray away.
The hug so overpowering, that she could hear her own heart beating rapidly, No was it her's? It was not hers but the person who held her face close to his chest.
Haneol who came down to the garage area to get her power bank from the car had totally not expected this. Now, she was not dumb enough to put two and two together.
Her friends had thought that she apparently went missing or perhaps 'somebody' had taken her away.
Echoes of footsteps rushing away, indicated that her dear friend had walked away to inform the others about her, leaving the two figures hugging each other alone.
After collecting herself, her hands rose up coiling him in her hold too. Jungkook who sensed her doing so, snuggled his head deeper inside hers, as though now was when he finally realized that she was there.
