Several months had passed since Y/N and Yaku's unforgettable birthday confession. Life had settled into a comfortable rhythm with the two of them, and their relationship had become the stuff of legend—at least among their friends.

Yaku and Y/N had become the ultimate "shorties" couple, both standing on the shorter side of the height scale, but their love for each other was anything but small. Their friends often joked about how they were the "perfect match" for each other, literally and figuratively.

One sunny afternoon, Yaku and Y/N found themselves at a local park, enjoying a leisurely walk. Yaku had taken it upon himself to plan a surprise picnic for Y/N, complete with all her favorite snacks. He'd even baked another cake, this time with the help of Yuna—because apparently, baking wasn't one of Yaku's natural talents.

As they sat on the picnic blanket, Y/N looked up at Yaku with a mischievous grin. "So, have you finally accepted the fact that we're the two perfect shorties?"

Yaku chuckled, a little self-consciously adjusting his hat to avoid the sun. "I suppose so. Though, every time we take a picture together, it's like I'm holding a plush toy."

Y/N laughed, playfully nudging him. "Hey, I prefer to think of us as an adorable duo, like a pair of bookends. You know, perfectly matched and slightly squished together."

Yaku smirked. "I guess that's one way to look at it. And here I was, thinking we just had a height deficiency."

Just then, a group of kids ran past them, staring curiously at the two of them.

One of the kids, a little girl with pigtails, pointed at Y/N and Yaku. "Mom, look at those two! They're so cute and tiny!"

Y/N's eyes widened, and she tried to hide her blush behind her sandwich. "Did she just call us tiny?"

Yaku, trying to hold back his laughter, nudged Y/N. "It's okay. We're vertically challenged but emotionally rich!"

Y/N shook her head, still giggling. "At least we're cute, right?"

Yaku put his arm around Y/N, pulling her close. "Absolutely. We might be short, but our love is sky-high."

As they continued to enjoy their picnic, their friends from the volleyball team joined them, having heard about the surprise picnic. The team was all smiles, and even Kenma, usually reserved, made a rare appearance just to tease Yaku.

"Hey, Yaku-san," Lev said with a smirk, "is it true that you've started using a step ladder to kiss Y/N? Or did you just get really good at balancing on your toes?"

Yaku turned a shade of red that matched the blanket. "Very funny, Lev. At least I don't have to climb a mountain to get close to my girlfriend."

Y/N playfully stuck her tongue out at Lev. "Hey, it's not about height; it's about how you use your heart."

The day ended with a group photo, capturing Y/N and Yaku at their best—Y/N sitting on Yaku's lap, both grinning ear to ear. The caption for the photo, posted on social media by Yuna, read: "The perfect shorties—proving that love isn't about height, but about how big your heart is!"

As the sun began to set, Yaku and Y/N walked home hand in hand, their hearts full. They might have been the two shortest people in their group, but in each other's eyes, they were the tallest.

Yaku glanced over at Y/N with a smile. "You know, no matter how many people call us 'shorties,' I think we make a pretty tall pair."

Y/N squeezed his hand and laughed. "Absolutely. Here's to us—forever the adorable shorties who stole each other's hearts."

And so, Y/N and Yaku continued to navigate life's adventures together, proving that sometimes, the best things come in the smallest packages.

THE END❤️
