#9 - The Devils Plans

As the trio sat in their corner of choice attempting to apprehend the sight of Lei and Simon practically eating each other out, Sokayna couldnt help but notice a feeling of emptiness resurfacing from somewhere deep within her. Perhaps she was missing Harry? Was her longing for Zayn finally making its return? She quickly brushed it aside, acknowledging how good it felt to take a break from the Zayn-Harry spectacle these past few weeks. In the meantime, Louis and Niall made the collective decision to call Liam, who was now on his way. He had been very busy recently working on songs for the band, but Niall figured the situation was too much for them to deal with without him present. They sat in loud silence for a few minutes waiting for their potential saviour to arrive, but much to Sokaynas dismay he brought a friend who was coincidentally one of the two people she was least hoping to see.

"Hey guys", Liam panted before sitting down next to them, Zayn quickly following up. Sok was confused and, frankly, a little hurt with Liam bringing Zayn along. She hadnt told any of the boys about her feelings or the everlasting love triangle but they all knew she didnt have any interest in speaking to Zayn, or Harry for that matter, anytime soon.

To her surprise however, the way Zayn was interacting with Sok made it feel like things between them were so very alive and thriving and, even though she was unsure of that those "things" were exactly and she wouldve never admitted it if anyone asked, she enjoyed it much more than she wanted to allow herself to. She didnt give it too much thought just yet though, as she had her focus on something completely different. It was infact two somethings who were making out in the middle of their studio the last they checked, but have probably let it culminate into something way more by now. It was worrisome for lots of minor reasons and one major one, the latter being the fact that Simon only ever did such things with women he was serious about.

For Sok and the guys this meant that everytime they saw Simon, which was a lot, it would be highly likely theyd be seeing Lei as well. Lei who runs an odd fan account for one of their members and keeps a parasocial relationships with him, Lei who hunts down every woman who dares to come within a five feet radius of the boys, and as if thats not enough by itself, Lei who is already halfway into having the entirety of twitter on Soks radar.

It occurred to all of them that itd be best to break them up as quickly as possible, so they made the odd decision to go into the studio and let the rest happen naturally. The moment the group walked into the room where the two lovebirds were currently situated, Lei took notice of the guys and ran up to them screeching, leaving Simon by himself. "Oh. My. God.", she began, her voice so annoyingly high. "I cant believe it, what are you guys doing here? Im like, such a huge fan! My favourite is Harry but i love you all so much. I love your songs too and ive been to like so many concerts. Anyways, thank you so much for being a band and just being amazing overall and saving mine and everyone elses life, I love you so much and please dont let haters get to you or anything because youre all so amazing... Fuck, sorry. Ive been rambling so much. Im just so excited to meet you all! My names Lei", she smiled awkwardly and offered each of the guys her hand to shake. "Well Lei", Zayn began, offering the girl a kind smile despite the fact that he thought of her as the spawn of satan, if not satan himself. "Harrys not here, Im sorry. Hes away with his fam, but im sure he would be pleased to meet such a big fan!".

Zayn was lying through his teeth of course, but he found great amusement in watching her believe every word coming out of his mouth. The guys stayed and talked to Simon for a bit about their upcoming projects and whatnot while the girls stood aside and listened, separate from each other however. The first time they met neither of them left a very good impression on the other, so they both assumed it was best to keep away. Sokayna was warned by the band's management to be cautious and keep her distance from Lei as shes had a history of not being so pleasant to people, specifically girls, interacting with the group so closely and so often. Needless to say Sok was reasonably surprised when Lei approached her out of nowhere and started making small talk. It seemed harmless in the beginning so she gave in, until Lei finally asked the question she had been wanting to know for so long.

"Hey, so i was just wondering why you hung out with the guys so much? I mean like, youre not dating one of them are you? Im just curious!", she started to ramble again. Sokayna felt a sense of friendliness in her tone, which lead her to ignore the trace of judgment that was clear in both her voice and expression every time the two of them spoke. She caved and decided to tell her all about it, wondering if she would later regret this decision, but it seemed to Sok like she shouldnt have a problem trusting Lei. The only thing she left out was the ever present love triangle, as she hasnt spoken to anyone about it yet.

It had been hours since Sok and the boys arrived at the studio, yet here they were still hanging out with the new couple of the year. Sok was currently sitting in the recording room chatting with Simon about all things 1d, and coincidentally Lei was in the next room with the boys doing the same thing.

"Well Sok", Simon began. "Youre really an excellent girl. Im so glad that the boys have someone like you on their team to keep them safe and focused, but also as a friend of course. And may i also mention, youre really beautiful. I mean if i was one of them i dont think i would be able to focus you know, id just stare at you the whole time", he chuckled, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. Sok was pleasantly surprised by how bold he was being, and couldnt help but giggle when quickly he shied away after what he said. It was only now that she took notice of their close proximity, but she strangely didnt mind it.

She was still lost in her giggling when she noticed Simons lips were on hers. She didnt know what was going on at first. It happened in a moment before she even had time to prepare herself, but she soon found herself kissing him back. She enjoyed this probably more than she shouldve as it was her first experience of this kind since she had broken up with Harry. The pleasure, however, didnt last very long. Soon enough there was a new person standing at the door, watching them make out with nothing but fury and hatred in her eyes. "I will ruin your life you know, both of you. Just you wait for the entire internet to find out how much of a whore you really are", and with that Lei walked out of the studio and slammed the door behind her as if she now wanted nothing to do with it or the people currently inside it. Sok dragged her hands down her face in frustration and ran out to follow her, pushing away Simons hand on her shoulder and ignoring the guys calling her name.

Sokayna didnt know what she was going to do, but she couldnt let Lei go after she had just revealed her evil plan to her. She was determined to talk her out of it and give her anything in the world to leave her alone, yet in the back of her mind she was already accepting the fact that Lei was going to post everything she knew about her on twitter, and her life would be effectively ruined.
