* Introduction *Aldarion was created 6000 years ago, by two celestial beings—
Solara, the Sun Spirit, and Lunara, the Moon Guardian.
Together, they wove the fabric of the world, creating a perfect balance between light and darkness, day and night, growth and death.
For centuries , the ancient world of Aldarion, had two mighty clans ruling.
The Aurorans, and The Nocturnals.
The Aurorans, were favored by the goddess Solara.
And the Nocturnals, who were under the protection of the goddess Lunara.
The two goddesses, Lunara and Celestia, created Aldarion with a shared vision. To forge a sanctuary where magic could thrive freely, away from the limitations and conflicts of both the heavens and the mortal world. Aldarion was a grand experiment, a way to prove that different forms of magic and beings with vastly different natures could find harmony. It was a test of whether the union of light and dark could coexist without conflict.
For centuries, the two clans coexisted in a fragile peace, each honoring their goddess and maintaining the delicate balance between day and night.
However, a deep-seated jealousy festered in the heart of the Auroran leader, Lord Caelus,
Driven by ambition and the desire to see his clan dominate all of Aldarion, Caelus ignited a war against the Nocturnals.
The war raged for decades, with both sides committing atrocities and growing more desperate as their numbers dwindled .
The Aurorans, under Caelus's rule, unleashed powerful light magic, scorching lands, and blinding enemies.
The Nocturnals, led by Lady Eryndor, retaliated with shadowy illusions and cursed spells that consumed entire cities in darkness.
The escalating conflict forced the hand of the goddesses.
Solara and Lunara, unable to directly stop the conflict, decided to grant their most devoted followers a powerful artifact.
The Helios Codex.
But as fate has it, During The War of the Fallen Thrones, as many refer to it.
The Helios Codex was lost amidst the chaos.
An Astral Shard obtained by Lord Caelus, was used to release a powerful Abyssal Surge.
Destroying the ancient world.
Few who survived did so due to the gift of the Dragon heart.
They are what we call the, 'Dragon heart survivors'.
But the immense energy from the Shards did not merely annihilate; they reshaped and transformed the world in ways unforeseen.
It caused an extraordinary phenomenon: the reawakening and evolution of ancient, primal energies that had been dormant.
This new magic did not merely repair what was broken but created entirely new forms of life.
Four prominent clans rose from The Old Aldarion's ashes.
The Verdant Wilds, once lush and vibrant, became an even more mystical and untamed wilderness, brimming with magical flora and fauna that adapted to the new, altered environment.
The Sylvan Elves, who can communicate with the forest and wield nature magic soon emerged.
The Celestial Veil, is a chain of floating islands made of translucent crystal formed above the destruction. Home to the Aetherians, beings of light energy in the form of fairies, who guard the skies.
Dark Witches emerged from the Ebon Isle.
An isolated island to the south, surrounded by dark, tumultuous seas. The island is covered in shadowy, enchanted fog.
And the Valorians
As the world descended into turmoil following the eruption of the Astral Shards
The rise of monstrous creatures like the Void Wraiths and Astral Rippers, lead to a dire need for a new breed of warriors—
Individuals who could confront both the physical and magical threats plaguing the land.
They are direct desendants of the 'dragon heart survivors'.
The Valorians act as guardians, champions, and peacekeepers across Aldarion. They are often called upon to handle tasks that no ordinary warrior could—
Due to this, they were the unoffical leaders who maintain peace amoung each clan.
