The bus to gravity falls came to a slow stop. Two twins walked off along with a pig. The boy wearing a hat with a pine tree, an invader Zim shirt, faded black jean shorts and a studded belt. He was wearing converse that were two sizes too big, and his hair was fried, fluffy covering most of his face. He kept a brown cross bag with many pockets close with him. He had a small nervous smile on his face as he gripped his elbows to stop his hands from shaking. Meanwhile the girl had long, shagged brown hair with brightly colored streaks throughout. She was wearing a pair of jean shorts with layered belts, different colored fluffy leg warmers and a neckless off the shoulder sweater with a shooting star on it. She was practically shaking with excitement, or with caffeine from the three-monster energy's she had on the way over. The twins grabbed their bags. "Mabel you're shaki-" "I know." Dipper was cut off by his sister before just sighing. "Well, we should make our way to the shack then?" Mabel nodded as dipper began walking in the direction of the mystery shack. The twins were fifteen now, and they hadn't been back since the summer Bill tried to take over. They made it to the shack, opening the door and being greeted by the Stans and Soos in a large, group hug. They all laughed and caught up. The attic was split with a door in between the two, that way they get their privacy while still being together. They began walking up the stairs together as always, talking about what they were going to do that summer. "Well, you need to try and get your mind off of Alex. You really don't know what he's going to do about Mel." Dipper sighed, "Yeah, you're right about that.. I don't know, I mean he said he plans on ending it with her, after all she is cheating.." Dipper mumbled on that last bit, he hated to admit but he was missing him already. Alex was his former bully who, supposed to be jokingly, dated him. Then they both fell in love and now Alex plans on breaking up with his girlfriend for Dipper. Mabel isn't so sure about that plan though, she knows his girlfriend well enough to know Alex really likes her, or at least seems to. "Don't think on it too much, we're gonna have a safe, fun summer without relationship drama okay Dip?" Mabel stopped at the top step at the divide. "Okay, Mabel." The twins ventured on into their own corners of the attic. Dipper couldn't wait to get back in Ford's lab with him, well, him and fiddleford McGucket. The two had been "working together" again in the times where Ford was back from sea, trying to figure out the smaller, simpler mysteries of the town. Meanwhile Mabel was hyped about hanging out with Pacifica and going to parties, trying new things, meeting new people. The both of them had plans, but they also knew that wasn't going to end up happening, it never did.
Later in the evening, Dipper had finished dinner and went back up to his room to grab his bag, walking down the stairs and headed for the door before Ford's familiar voice was heard from behind, "what are you up to, Kiddo?" Dipper paused, turning around to ford, "Just an evening, woodland stroll is all." He swallowed. He had gotten better at lying, but not as good as he'd hoped. "Well, kid, be safe at.. whatever it is you're actually doing." Ford smiled slightly, patting dipper on the shoulder before turning into the main room where Stan was. Dipper sighed, opening the door and walking into the woods, ruffling through his bag as he did so. He grabbed a small Ziplock bad of something, finding a rock to sit on, rolling a blunt and grabbing a lighter. He lit his smoke and continued walking to his destination. He came into a clearing, looking on in front of him at the sight of the once life filled demon. He looked around, finding a large rock close enough to him and he sat down. "You know Bill, it's not funny when you fallow me in my dreams." Dipper said, taking a long drag of his smoke, followed by silence. "You can't even fucking respond.. I'm sure I sound crazy right now. Crazy Pines twin talking to statue of triangle.." Dipper sighed, leaning his head back while laughing slightly, "Damn it, Bill..You're such an anomaly." There was silence for a moment, only broken by the mix of laughter and tears from Dipper. "You know, Bill.. As much as you fucked my life up, the only time I feel appreciated anymore is when you show up in my dreams at night just to taunt me because you're never fully defeated.. It's fucking pathetic.." Dipper put out his smoke, flicking it in front of him. He placed his head in his hands, letting the tears he'd bottled up finally fill his palms. He sat up, bringing his hands from his face and staring at his left wrist which was covered with white scars in perfect lines. "You really know how to get into someone's head, Bill." Dipper sighed with a smile, wiping his hands on his shorts before getting up and making his way back to the shack. a breeze came over the trees, shaking them as he walked home. He walked in the door, all the lights were off aside from the one over the table in the kitchen. Ford was sitting there, reading over something, looking up when the door closed. "Oh, good. Dipper, if you aren't too tired, would you mind coming down to the lad with me?"
