THE NEXT MORNING, you woke up with a sense of anticipation that made it difficult to stay still. you went through your usual routine, but everything felt different - more exciting, more meaningful. when you finally stepped out of the slytherin common room, you found theo waiting for you, leaning casually against the wall with a small, knowing smile on his face.

"morning." he greeted you, his voice as smooth as ever.

"morning." you replied, a smile of your own tugging at your lips as you approached him.

without a word, theo took your books from your hands, carrying them for you as the two of you made your way through the winding corridors of hogwarts. it had become your routine - one that you both cherished, even if it meant navigating the curious stares of your fellow students. despite the secrecy, there was something thrilling about walking side by side, your shoulders occasionally brushing, knowing that no one else could fully understand what was happening between you.

as you walked, theo stayed close, his hand occasionally resting on the small of your back, his fingers brushing yours whenever the opportunity arose. each touch was a silent reminder of the connection you shared, a secret language that only the two of you understood.

when you reached your first class of the day, theo made sure to sit beside you, positioning himself so that you were partially hidden from view. under the desk, his hand found yours, his fingers lightly grazing your skin in a way that sent shivers down your spine. it was a simple gesture, but it made the long hours of lectures feel more bearable, knowing that he was right there with you.

throughout the day, you noticed how protective theo was of you, especially when other guys tried to get too close. it wasn't that he was overtly possessive - he didn't need to be. his presence alone was enough to send a clear message: you were his, and he wasn't going to let anyone interfere with that.

whenever someone flirted with you, theo would subtly step in, positioning himself between you and the other person, his expression calm but his eyes sharp. it was a quiet, controlled sort of possessiveness, one that made it clear he wasn't going to start any fights, but he wasn't going to back down either. and as much as you didn't want to admit it, you found his protectiveness comforting.

by the time the final class of the day ended, you were more than ready for some alone time with theo. the day had been filled with little moments of intimacy - his hand on your knee during potions, his foot brushing against yours under the table in defense against the dark arts - but now, you craved something more.

as you packed up your things, theo leaned in, his voice low as he murmured, "meet me outside the class?"

you nodded, your heart skipping a beat at the thought of being alone with him again. "i'll be there."
