Writing this story has been an emotional mess—late nights (only late nights, actually),
unexpected plot twists (writer's block), and characters that
felt as real and annoying
to me as anyone in my life.
I poured my heart into
each scene, and fun fact,
nearly every character is
based on someone I know.
Next point, I often write autism into my books.
it looks different in each one,
and in each time period I write in,
but it's usually there.
