Booktag short stories

Sick day

Pricetag was used to book being the first one up on the team, but today it was nearly 11:30 and she still hadn't woken up yet. Pricetag decided to check on her, when they did, they noticed book was pale. "Book are you ok?" pricetag asked concerned. "Yeah I'm......cough cough fine just a little tired" book responded half heartedly (getting up her legs were weak and she could barely stand, her voice was horse, and she sounded exhausted) pricetag put they're foot to book's forehead "you're burning up, lie down while I find a thermometer and some medicine" pricetag said firmly "no I'm fine, really I can just walk this off" book said (afraid to look bad) "it's a bad idea to walk this off" pricetag stated "now lie down". Book lied down (too tired to argue).

Pricetag entered robot flower's shop in the hotel, "I need a thermometer and medicine to reduce a fever" they looked around and noticed robot flower wasn't in there, they noticed golfball digging through piles of unwanted items. "Has basketball still not fixed robot flower?" Pricetag asked "no and at the rate she's going she never will ha" replied golfball "you know you could fix her" pricetag pointed out. "Seems like a waste of my team's time" replied golfball. "Anyway is there a thermometer or medicine in that pile?" Pricetag asked. "The thermometer is in my lab and marker took all the medicine" "can I borrow the thermometer, I swear I'll give it back" pricetag reassured "you can keep it, it's less valuable than I initially expected" golfball said, before leaving they grabbed a spare blanket.

Pricetag went to golfball's lab where they ran into tennis ball "oh hi, I'm just here for the thermometer" "it's on the desk over there" he said "why did you two take this? If you don't mind me asking" pricetag asked. "We were hoping to use the mercury for an experiment but there wasn't enough to be useful" "................ok" replied pricetag. After leaving they went looking for marker; they found him talking to blackhole "hey I need medicine to reduce a fever" "why are you asking us?" blackhole asked. "because I gathered all of the medicine so I could treat anyone who is sick we come across" claimed marker proudly. "Can I just have the medicine" asked pricetag. After getting the medicine they returned to book.

"According to this you have a temperature of 102 degrees" they said as they gave book the medicine they grabbed. "You need to rest (pricetag said while covering her with the spare blanket they grabbed) try taking a nap and I'll grab anything you need" as they were getting up book grabbed their foot "wait, can you stay with me?" book asked "of course" pricetag said
The two sat together as book fell asleep cuddled up to pricetag.
