Chapter 19- Suprise.

Russell P.O.V

"Surprise!" Everyone in the stage room shouted. A smile instantly formed on my face. This is great. Saza and Madeleine walked in. I followed them in. Where the front chairs were there were tables, or table tops on top of the chairs. There was food and presents on the tables. All of a sudden a flood of people surrounded me. "Hello Russell." "Happy Birthday Russell." It was so loud.

"Hi everyone. Thanks for being here." Then spider and Dan came up to me. "Alright guys."

"Yes. We're having fun. Planning on getting pissed." Spider said. I laughed.

"Maybe that's not a good idea for you, we don't want you defending a loaf of Hovis again." We all started laughing. Dan gave me a glass of red wine. I looked around the room and saw Saza talking to Madeline and some guy, maybe Madeline's boyfriend.

Saza P.O.V

I was standing with Madeline and Harrison. Madeline was a bit upset because Harrison wouldn't let her drink anything alcoholic. "Mads you can't have any." Harrison said.

"Why? It's a party." Madeline questioned.

"For one it's not good for the baby," He placed his hand on Madeline's stomach. "Secondly you drink to much I don't want to have to carry you home... again."

"I won't get drunk. Please I'm thirsty."

"Ok I will get you a drink. Saza what do you want?"

"Red wine please if there is any. If not will have a soft drink."

"Ok" Harrison walked of to get the drinks.

I turned to Madeleine shaking my head. "What?" She asked.

"You shouldn't drink." I said.

"What I should die of thirst." Madeline joked.

"Alcohol is not good for the baby and you know it." She didn't reply. Harrison came back with the drinks. He passed mr my red wine and gave Madeleine her drink, but she was not happy.

"What's this?" She said pointing at a plastic cup filled with a fizzy brown liquid.

"It's cola." Harrison replied simply.

"Why have a got this?"

"You said you were thirsty and you can't have alcohol."

Madeline was going to rage, so I interrupted their conversation. "Mads calm. Any way we are going shopping tomorrow." She calmed down a bit. I smiled and she smiled back. I took a sip of my wine, quite pleased with myself.

All of a sudden I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I instantly knew it was Russell. I tuned around to face him, but instantly he crushed his lips to mine. We stayed like this for a few minutes and pulled away when we needed air. He looked over my shoulder and started giggling.

"What's up with Madeleine?" He asked. I looked over to my shoulder to she Madeline pointing at her cola. I turned back to Russell.

"She's upset because Harrison won't let her have alcohol." I answered. He giggled.

"Well I agree with him there."

"So do I and no one wants to see a pissed Madeline." I turned and saw Madeline coming towards us. "Hey up Mads." I said.

"Why can't I drink?" She asked.

"Well you can, no one is stopping you." Russell said. Madeline smiled. "However you can't drink alcohol. You know it's not good for the baby." I started to laugh. Madeline glared at me.

"Oh come on Mads cheer up. Any way you would do the same to me and you know you would. Now go back to Harrison and apologise to him. He loves you and he is doing whats best for you and the baby." She smiled and walked back over to Harrison. She actually listened, that's shocking.

I pulled away from Russell. He was confused. "Come on let's go open your presents."

"Ok." He said and we walked to the presents.

11 o'clock

Russell P.O.V

People were starting to go home. It was a lovely party and Madeline managed to calm down which was good. I got some great presents, including a come down with me box set. My friends obviously listen.

Saza walked through the stage room door followed by someone I couldn't see, I hadn't brought my glasses. Saza came up to me. "Hey Russ we got another friend." She moved and behind her was Jon Richardson. I was happy to see.

"Curly." I said doing my mum's voice. "Hi mate. How are you?"

"Good. Happy Birthday. Sorry I'm late. Saza only just thought to phone me up." He said. I was confused. Did he know Saza.

"Well I explained that I have only just come out of hospital and I thought you knew. Any way I didn't know." She said defending herself. "Any way we have to leave soon."

"Wait you to know each other?" I asked.

"Yeah we do. She was my mates cousin. I met her a year ago. Any way happy birthday." Jon handed me a present.

"Thanks Jon." I started to open the package. It was a frame with a picture of me wearing a French maid outfit and him wearing an air hostess outfit. This was taken when we were doing six music. "Oh wow thanks Jon it's great."

"Your welcome. I knew you enjoyed that day." We started to laugh, but it was soon interrupted by my dad.

"Russ we need to get back to Bristol, so come on if you want a lift." My dad shouted.

"Ok dad." I turned to Jon. "Sorry Jon. Call me tomorrow and we will meet up."

"Ok. See you then."

"Yea. Bye." I got a hold of Saza's hand and we walked with my parents towards my parents car."
