For as long as she can remember, Ashley has never been loved or appreciated by her rich, strict parents. They control what she does: control what she eats, forcing her to go to parties, going for photoshoots, telling her study hard, finding "better" friends. They have high expectations for her. They love Ashley's younger twin brother and baby sister more. Ashley tried very hard to earn her parents' love, respect and appreciation. They even tried to arranged marriages for her, much to Ashley's dismay.
