I sat in my room, staring blankly at the wall, lost in thought. Two days had passed, but the memory of what happened between me and Yoongi still lingered in my mind, refusing to fade. I knew it was wrong—what we did, the way we let our emotions take over—but in that moment, it felt inevitable, like we were both seeking solace in the wrong places. Guilt gnawed at me, a constant reminder of the mistake we made.
But even more than that, the pain of what Jungkook did at his birthday party weighed heavily on my heart. He treated me like I was just another girl, like I was someone who only wanted him for physical pleasure. How could he think that of me? I wasn't like those other girls who threw themselves at guys, desperate for attention and validation. I wanted more—I wanted love, trust, and respect.
My mind kept replaying the scene at the party, the way Jungkook had laughed, and told those shit to me in front of everyone, while I stood there, feeling invisible, humiliated. Why did he do this to me? Was it all just a game to him? Tears welled up in my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. I was stronger than this, or at least I wanted to believe I was.
But deep down, I couldn't shake the hurt, the feeling of betrayal. I had trusted Jungkook, let him into my heart, and he shattered it without a second thought. And now, after what happened with Yoongi, I felt more lost than ever. I didn't know how to move forward, how to forgive, or even if I wanted to.
My phone buzzed incessantly with messages and missed calls from Jungkook, but I couldn't bring myself to respond. Each notification was a painful reminder of the heartbreak he'd caused, a wound that hadn't yet begun to heal. I couldn't understand how someone who once made me feel so cherished could turn around and hurt me so deeply.
I stared at the screen, his name flashing again, but all I felt was a cold emptiness. I decided to ignore him—what was the point of answering? He'd already shattered my trust, my heart. What could he possibly say now that would make things better?
Sometimes, I wished I'd never met him. If I could go back in time and erase the day our paths crossed, maybe I'd be living a different life—a happier one, free from this constant ache. But instead, I was left with a mess, a tangled web of emotions I couldn't seem to escape. What was once a dream had turned into a nightmare, and all I could do was try to survive it.
Eventually, I couldn't resist any longer. I opened Jungkook's chat, feeling my heart race as I scrolled through the countless unread messages. Then, I saw it—a long paragraph that made my chest tighten and my breath hitch. It was the last thing I expected, and reading it broke me even more.
"Y/N, I know you're hurt. It's been two days, and you haven't come to uni, replied, or called me back. I'm sorry, and I mean it. I want to hug you, kiss you, and make this all right again. But you need to know—it was all Lisa. She made me do it, or else she threatened to hurt you. I swear, I never wanted to hurt you, and I swear on God, I'm not lying."
His words pierced through me, leaving me torn between anger, confusion, and a flicker of hope. My mind raced, trying to piece together what this could mean. Lisa? Why would she do this? And more importantly, why would Jungkook go along with it? My heart ached, but his message forced me to pause and think before acting.
Could there be truth in his words? Had he been trying to protect me, even if it meant breaking my heart? I didn't know what to believe anymore, but I couldn't deny that his message stirred something deep within me—doubt, curiosity, and a tiny, fragile hope that maybe, just maybe, there was more to the story than I had imagined.
But even with that possibility, the pain was still fresh, still real. Could I trust him again after everything?
As I reached the university, the first person I saw was Jungkook. It's been days since I have seen him
My heart ached in pain, I wanted to give him a tight hug and cry on his chest. "Where is Lisa" that's what I spoke out. "She's waiting in the canteen" I nodded and headed to the canteen. I could see Lisa busy watching her phone so I went and stood behind her "How are you Lisa" She turned at me and gave a large smile, "Wow I am so happy seeing you here by the way I am glad that during Jungkook's birthday party".
It was half-confirmed that Jungkook wasn't lying about the way Lisa was speaking to me, "just answer me without playing any games or manipulating me" She stood up and crossed her arms around her chest facing me while smiling at me "Sure ask anything y/n" Lisa sounded so confident that I didn't even wait any more
"Whatever Jungkook said to me in the party like you know was it all his words or yours" she chuckled and eyed me very hard "If I say a yes what will you do" Lisa knows how to divert conversations and she is doing that. "Just answer me yes or no" I was very confident that her answer would be a yes. "Yes Ms Y/n I made him say it now what will you do huh" my blood was boiling I wanted to smack her so bad that she never tries to hurt me or Jungkook again.
Then I called Jungkook and asked him to come to the canteen, as he came to the canteen I could see a guilt in his eyes. "Jungkook come here" I said it in a soft tone, I know I was mad at him for 2 days but when Lisa told me the truth now I am all ok
"Jungkook I am so sorry I know I should have trusted you but I was not in a state to even process anything" I was almost tearing up but then Jungkook cupped my face and made me look at his eyes, "I know whatever I did was wrong but I did it only for protecting you from Lisa" he hugged me after saying it. But I could see Lisa still standing showing her attitude, I couldn't control and pulled away "Babe can you leave I need to have a word with her" he nodded and left
"So when will you leave Jungkook's back" she came closer to me and what she said was totally crazy "what if I tell you it's never gonna happen" she just left after saying it. What the fuck this means she will never leave Jungkook's back
